Finally. Reunited and it feels so good. One of my favorite couples on TV. I disagree about Margo and Alana. They are captives on the farm. And their only choice at getting the inheritance is using Mason, after the complete violation he committed against Margo. And he's not done.

And the award for least charming man on the planet goes to…Verger! By a landslide. Every time he speaks he manages to say something gross, but that conversation with Margo was just. Ew. On the other hand, the conversation between Hannibal and Will in the museum was the complete antithesis of Verger’s vulgarity. They have such beautifully written conversations composed entirely of poetic riddles. I love that. But you’re right, there is a point where it’s like “hey guys, why don’t you just arrest him?” lol. Agreed, this is definitely the trippiest episode. The Margo/Alana scene was like a psychedelic Georgia O’Keefe. And the diffused droplet effect for Hannibal/Will, mirroring the title sequence, was great. Although on that note, because everybody seems to be quite high, I’m wondering if the bit with the saw was a hallucination. I guess we’ll find out next week.

I don't really think that Margot and Alana (especially Alana) are really that comparable to Mason. Using Mason to capture/kill Hannibal and then planning to bring in the FBI and turn Mason over to them is definitely a darker place than Alana had previously been and certainly is a different type of moral justification than she would have made in seasons one or two. Yet, wanting Hannibal dead is hardly that dark of a desire considering what happened to her and wanting Mason in prison after getting Hannibal is definitely reasonable. As for Margot, it's not like she's hanging with her brother because she cares about him. After the way he violated her body, she's on her own track for revenge. They've got some Old Testament, eye-for-an-eye vengeance going on right now and while it's probably not healthy and probably not the most virtuous of paths to take, in the sliding scale of people in this Hannibal-universe, it makes sense.
