Clare Manion

Oh no, Doctor Senator! Although that last scene with him was perfect. The intensity of the conversation, shot half in silhouette. While it was clear he knew this was it for him, he maintained his dignity and integrity to the end. I loved the line about ‘little boys making a mess.’ That’s absolutely what those two are. How perfect for Gaetano (Brother Crazy Eyes, Keeper of The Teeth) to be listening to an aria from Tosca right before he wipes out on the ice. Tosca is a famously violent opera by Puccini, one of the upper pantheon of Italian composers. Of course he loves that one. And yeah. Thurman. He’s just…painfully naive, isn’t he? A nice man but, my God. Also “say hello to the Sandman” is the quite possibly the creepiest ‘goodnight’ I’ve ever heard. Sounds almost like a threat… especially coming from an undertaker.

I love how they portray Thurman as a little "off." He's not as bad as other characters we've seen but my god is that man in over his head
