This actress has such phenomenal range. I’ve seen her in this *and* in True Blood. The characters could not be more drastically different.

Oh absolutely - this would be a really sweet love story between Francis and Reba if it wasn't for, y’know, all the murder. Although I do think Francis is a sympathetic character, if we separate him the Red Dragon persona - kind of a Smegol/Gollum situation. Granted, he can never be totally separated from it, but indeed, we can see that sliver of humanity come through now and then. Echos of who he might have been under different circumstances. Reba seems to bring that out of him - at least for a second or two. I love how they use Debussy’s Arabesque (the piano music) to illustrate her innocence.

Absolutely amazing episode. Reba is beautiful , and almost, almost getting to him. The whole combo conversation between Will, Bedelia, and her patient is one of my favourites, and I can basically quote the whole passage about the wounded bird. Fun fact, the scene when she kills the patient, in the script has a description as a fatal fisting, and that is such a Bryan thing... Those scripts are so fun to read.

Heh. The Will and Bedelia scenes, Petty Princess' fight. Bedelia- "I was with him in Italy that whole time." Will- " Bitch, you were just my stand in. And temporary at that". 😎🤣

He's just too far gone, but it's so incredibly sad.

I would recommend everyone to read the scripts, there are so many underlining moments. As per deleted scenes, there is one about Hannibal escaping the pig pen, and killing perhaps a dozen bodyguards under 20 mins. I highly recommend you guys to watch Polar, because is just that.
