Yes! Hannibal has totally shed his likability in this storyline. We basically see the monster as he is now, and I think that’s a great choice. It ties into what was probably my favorite visual of the episode: Hannibal whispering into one of Francis’ ears, then the other - like the devil sitting on both shoulders. I’m not sure I’d be so hard on Francis for breaking it off with Reba. He doesn’t want to hurt her and he knows he’s losing control. So breaking it off might be the last decent act of Francis-as-he-could-be before he descends into complete psychopathy… Although, if Manhunter is any indication, it may all go south later anyway. Also, I’m kind of surprised Will and Molly don’t have any sort of security system going at the house. Or a means of defense. Yes, they had the dogs, but still. Yikes. “He’s going full Liar Liar” - Hahahaha! Oh man, I haven’t thought about that movie in the longest time, but that’s absolutely what’s happening in that scene.
