Even if you did want Charles and Rosa to get together, why would that even matter? That seems like a silly thing to get mad over.

I agree, but some people were downright hostile about it.

Wow it sucks people are being so weird about the Charles / Rosa thing. What a weird hill to die on. On the other hand, I know call my own bathroom Babylon now because of this episode.

I'd guess it's people who have seen the show and can only picture the characters as they are many seasons down the road and can't put themselves in the heads of first-time watchers only knowing what you guys do now... coupled with youtube comments being shitty in general.

"Cool motive! Still murder." is easily one of the top 3 lines of the entire show's run.

Also Mandy in The West Wing (not a sitcom but...) Also Mutt in Schitt's Creek. Idk if it was just bc his character didn't "match" in the end or if it was also a matter of "the actor will be working on another show, he won't be available" but I do think Mutt felt off at some point.

The man dealing with the detector-lie machine is an extra appearing Allll the time in (on?) Gilmore Girls if you pay attention (or watches the show a million times). Funny to see him in a "speaking-role" for a change.

It's such a shame that I was busy yesterday, so I couldn't see your reaction till today. This episode is such a good one. And it has (in my opinion) one of the best cold opens.

Nip/Tuck was a strange little show. I watched several seasons because I was fascinated with where they were going with it, but it was narratively uneven, the characters were inconsistent in their behavior and motivations, and the messaging around plastic surgery was gross. I felt like certain plot lines and character arcs were compelling, but I would never recommend that show to anyone, and I fully understand why you didn’t watch past the first season. HOWEVER, it had one of the most sensitive and compassionate portrayals of trans women’s struggles that I had seen unto that point, and it introduced me to the Flower Duet from Lakme, which is on my favorites playlist. For those two factors alone, I’m glad I watched it.

Wow, I thought both the B99 and Watch This communities were better than that. Sorry you had to suffer through that inanity, but you'd better apologise every time you even MENTION a romantic couple from now on, just in case!
