What people taste from celery is largely determined by genetic factors. It only tastes like nothing to people who have low sensitivity to the bitter compounds present in it. I have the "super-taster" variant, which makes me extremely sensitive to bitter compounds in smell and taste, and to me (and others who are sensitive to bitterants), celery tastes like dirt that has somehow expired... Also every scene between Holt and Wunsch is always comedy gold.

I love that the only thing that can get Amy to stand up to Holt is the prospect of a bad grade! I love her! Also, Holt giving her the little bit of paper with 'A' on it makes me well up a bit...I'm a baby lol

I didn't like celery when I was a child but now I'm just indifferent to it, kind of. But it definitely has a taste. I knew about the cilantro gene, some people eat it and literally taste "soap" so it's unedible to them.

The show makes it ***extremely*** clear that they are going to partner people up. It’s not a spoiler to say that people are going to end up in a relationship in a long running comedy where people are already partnered. This is not a spoiler, this is how comedy television works over and over and over and over again. It’s not a surprise. Kevin liked my comment and didn’t object to it. If the commenters cannot be civil, why am I here? Why am I paying money to be a part of a community that is aggressively hostile?
