-The actor who plays Wayne, is very good at playing good guys. He is in Noah Hawley's next show "Alien: Earth", and he was great in it.

Jason Schwartzman is the narrator for this episode. I would’ve loved a scene with Lorraine Lyon and Jack Donaghy. The line, “Or are you going to sit drinking coffee in the one house in the state where I know that girl ain’t in.” Is a line from Raising Arizona. The DLR593 license plate is a callback to Fargo the movie.

“You’re fighting for your right to be a baby.” - I love that so much. I think I’ve seen that clip before, but never realized it was from here. It’s 1000% true. As awful as the mother in law is, in that moment (and only that moment), she was perfect. There’s an interesting juxtaposition between Roy and the cop’s “golfer” husband. They’re two different expressions of that notion of ‘fighting for their right to be a baby.’ One aggressive, one passive, but both want total freedom without consequences.

I've been very skeptical about that show as a massive Alien fan

The cast is top notch. Police lady from this season of Fargo, Wayne, and Nemic from Andor. Also Timothy Olyphant and several others.

Carl Wilson

I'm very curious whether Mrs. Lion does take the other Mrs. Lion's side or not. We love Dot but her violent and secretive approach is more a set of trauma symptoms than a coherent plan. But I do hope we get to see Jennifer Jason Leigh go after Jon Hamm some more, before Dot, Munch, or both slaughter him.

Also I'm upset about Wayne being so concussed or whatever it is that he doesn't know what "rich" means.
