You're definitely right that what Abed says and does this episode points in a direction that will be taken much further. Otherwise this episode is middling, but you're seeing the relationships of the girls develop thru the washroom story, and the Jeff vs. Dean story is also the beginning of many things.

Roland

I had to look up what a keg flip was, turns out that it's a fictional party stunt...but there's a whole bunch of lore associated with it, which I won't reveal as I don't know if it's a spoiler or not. :)

Before this, Dan Harmon co-created The Sarah Silverman Program.

📣📣🏳️🏳️Gooo Human Beings!!! 🧍🏽‍♂️🧍🏽‍♀️🤸🏽🤸🏽🏈🏈

Ah, the Human Being, Greendale's perfect mascot. I've never thought of him as a movie monster but it works. Made with the best intentions, possessed of unfathomable motivations, frightening just because we recognize so much of ourselves in him, made alien just because those familiar traits are amplified beyond human comprehension.

stingo

it might be a bit middling as a whole, but the football field exchange is still one of the best things the show has ever done

dys

Yeah not one of my favorites of the season, but it does give us our intro to the Human Being and that glorious exchange between Troy and Jeff on the football field.

Darcy Smith

Take a pottery class or something! I'm sure it'd help a person relax.

Ben

Loving these reactions. I was just thinking “This looks like the Licorice Pizza location” right as you said it!

Jamie Morgan

I knew from how much you like the meta jokes in OMitB that you'd love Abed!

zod

By the way beside the russo's and harmon the guy who scored the show is ludwig goransson and it was one of his first projects

Daniel Andersen

Rick and Morty was on Adult Swim and became it's main attraction. The show is good, but too nonsensical for me.

Hunter Kragh

Love the irony of two white men deciding what is offensive and ending up with the whitest creature possible.
