The Blouse Barn is in Elmdale, which has been established as the slightly nicer town a few miles from Schitt's Creek, with more and slightly better shopping options. Wendy, the owner of the Blouse Barn, is played by Robin Duke, another of the multitude of performers who originated in the Canadian "Second City" troupe. When Catherine O'Hara left the SCTV series in 1980, Robin Duke was her replacement, until O'Hara returned a year later.

It's so great that the family gets to go back and do the things they missed when they were rich. Such great writing!
