For the youngsters out there, in the early days of email the Auto Reply All infinite loop bounce was a real thing in large organizations, would bring everything to a grinding halt.

Love the energy of this episode! The ending borders on cheesy but it’s such a relief to see our guys looking motivated and excited after how depressing their day has been. Leo gives some great motivational speeches, doesn’t he?

The way you guys went "YES" when Leo wrote "Let Bartlet Be Bartlet" and the whole senior staff started going "I serve at the pleasure of the President" just proves how much this show can build in fifty minutes For all the episode and the reaction it got both of you frustrated about it, about what was happening, about nothing having a resolution, about the fact you felt you lost time just like them and at the end you get this GRENADE of adrenaline at full speed, shattering the wall of frustration that this episode built I may be the biggest Jed Bartlet fan in the world, but Leo McGarry was and forever will be my favorite character in season 1 mostly because of this scene. The "You drag me there" creates this amazing war of words between two close friends, two great minds and two coworkers just because one of them wants to bring the other to his best. Leo wants Bartlet to be Bartlet because he's the one people voted for And you both got the emotion, the adrenaline, the will to see him succeed and achieve great stuff! This episode IS a masterpiece and your reaction IS a masterpiece

Thank you as always Luca. This show is one of the all time greats. We cannot express how much we love it and how the dynamics of each character continue to blow our minds.

I’ve been waiting for this episode since you started! Such an iconic moment in the show. Martin Sheen and John Spencer absolutely kill it in their scene together. No matter how many times I’ve seen it, it still gives me chills. I love seeing people get to watch it for the first time.

I love when Admiral Fitzwallace enters the meeting on gays in the military.

Sorkin always said the show was a love story between Bartlet and Leo...and this episode shows it perfectly.
