This episode is a fan favorite and is highly considered the turning point in the show.

So nice to watch this episode and just feel the warmth of its feel-good factor. As you mentioned, it’s great to look back to season 1 and see how far they’ve come and how much they’ve grown, as individuals and as a family. Moira telling the kids that she loved them was, I think, a pretty big deal - I’d be surprised if that’s something she would have said so sincerely before they moved to Schitt’s Creek. And Alexis and David saying it back (even with the eye-roll) was pretty special too. Fabulous episode!

You nailed it -- this season was about Acceptance, season 1 having been Denial. (Sort of leaping through the standard stages of grief.) Where we go from here will be very interesting indeed.

That’s definitely one of my favorite episodes. Like you both mentioned, such a turning point. Specifically for Johnny. Really enjoying rewatching this series with you both. Looking forward to next season.
