"Where the f*ck was the mouse?" is such a perfectly delivered line. Also, Poltergeist came out two years before they invented PG-13, probably one of the reasons.

You may have said it and I missed it, but Vic (Cedric Yarbrough) was also on Reno 911! with Wendi McClendon-Covey. He does come back periodically as well.

This also brought up a flashback memory that I got busted going to see Die Hard 2 and telling my mom I was going to see Ghost Dad. I think in retrospect my mom is glad I have a better sense of humor than wanting to see Ghost Dad.

This episode was hilarious, and I'm really enjoying how nostalgic you guys are getting about the 80s. But I have to disagree with you on one point: those of us who were kids in the 70s have some really happy nostalgia for that time. The music, movies, and tv shows were a lot of fun, and honestly Vietnam really wasn't in our consciousness as kids. We got news only from newspapers and the three networks' evening newscasts, so world events weren't constantly on our minds. For kids in the 70s, life was all about "Happy Days", Hot Wheels, Pop Rocks, "Star Wars", and riding our bikes for hours without our parents having any idea where we were.

I love the films of the 70s but 80s movies man. So much freaking fun. Objectively the 70s is probably the greatest decade for film and the 80s might be the most fun.

An excellent episode, the casting director really deserves a lot of credit. Kudos to the "Ottoman Empire", that's a Good Place quality of pun there. 🤣 + I know you guys are movie nerds, you should throw in the occasional bonus episode (I recommend Time Bandits per the poster on Adam's wall, plus Poltergeist of course). 🙂

Oh, I'm so sad. I really liked the Goldbergs, I watched quite a lot of it on TV. Would love to watch your full reactions. Unfortunately, none of my streaming service providers (netflix, disney+, prime video, HBO Max) carry the show for Hungary. Prime video seems to have it for some regions, but not available in Hungary. :( Oh, well, I'll just watch your reactions on youtube when it's up.

That stinks! I really wish everything was region free. There are some Blu-rays that I would love to own that aren't region free here. Still appreciate your support!
