The Tenth District map (Patreon)

The Tenth District, also simply referred to as the Center of Ravnica, was the original hub of the ancient City of Ravnica and is the figurative heart of the ecumenopolis that exists today. It is considered the cradle of civilization, having been the site where the paruns signed the Guildpact into effect, creating the guilds and leading to the urbanization of the entire plane.

Besides its historical importance, the Tenth is a hotbed of guild activity, as each has its chief guildhall within the Tenth’s confines. New Prahv towers over the district and can be seen for miles, looming over even some of the tallest spires, while the ancient city-tree of Vitu-Ghazi shades the largely Selesnyan populace in the precinct below; Sunhome and Nivix are close enough neighbors that it is easy for them to share resources, especially as both keep a wary eye the ruined palace of Skarrg on the border of the Tenth’s rubblebelt; the cathedral of Orzhova stands austere beside the Tenth’s main plaza, and Zameck hides just under the surface of Zonot Seven; and underground lie the guildhalls of Korozda, Rix Maadi and (supposedly) Duskmantle. This proximity of guild nerve centers has led to many of Ravnica’s most earth-shattering events taking place here, further defining the Tenth as a place of legend.
