The Hekma is a magical barrier created by the ibis-headed god Kefnet. The purpose of the barrier is to protect the city from the mummies and the sandstorm from the deserts. The Hekma was later destroyed by the Locust God during the hour of promise but resurrected by Hazoret, the god of zeal, and Sarkhan Vol eventually.
