I have something important to tell you…

For the last week I've been facing abdominal pains, nausea, and vomiting. Along with practically starving as a result. Yesterday I went to the ER (Happy 4th of July to me). Test results for all the "scary stuff," as the medical staff put it, have been good so far. But I don't know if what I have is contagious either, so I'm playing it safe now and keeping my distance from my family in the meantime.

I don't know what my medical bills look like just yet but they are, sadly, not done happening either. I will need to meet with another doctor soon and depending on how that goes more tests may need to be done.

By now you probably already expected this news — this has directly impacted my ability to work on art. You may have realized I've been posting less and that will not be changing for a while. There are days I feel okay such as this one (so far) and I'll use these pockets of relief to get some things done. But please understand, things are going to be difficult for me both physically and financially from now on.

I don't want this to be nothing but bad news though so here are some updates:

  • Priority for commissions will be changing and I will have a slot system for the foreseeable future. This will allow for...

  • Continued work on Bunny Mom! This has been a commissioned project that both I and the commissioner had difficulties with fitting in for quite some time. However we're both on track to pick up the project very soon.

  • Development of other personal projects (including one I've already teased recently)

  • Possible collaborative projects in the future. I've only just begun discussions so this part is still up in the air. But I've been speaking with a few people about working together for some prospective projects.

  • Pinups and the M-S pack are still forthcoming but were hit with some further delays (as detailed in the paragraphs above)

Saying no to standard commissions has simply been too difficult in the past. I would try not to give them so much of my time but they've been my main source of income for years that as a result any new projects would get sidelined. However, commission work has slowed down so much in 2026 that I can't see why I should prioritize it anymore. Refocusing like this will also allow BEE Tier members to get that bang for their buck that I understand I've been very inconsistent with providing. It will also encourage me to develop my original characters, ideas, and basically allow room for more things I'd like to personally create.

I will reiterate because this is important: Things are going to be physically and financially very difficult for me for a while. I know there's little to be done about the latter but I hope the former can be dealt with sooner. If any other significant changes to my health situation occur, I will update you all. In the meantime, the support I get from Patreon now will be more important than ever.

And if anyone has suggestions to help make the Patreon better, I'd be glad to hear from you.

Thank you all for reading and your continued support.
