The End.

It's been cool seeing you guys enjoy these reactions. I thought given my previous series of more classic shows, I wouldn't have much of an audience for a newer thing like this. But that it would still be a good idea to at least do one. But seeing you guys enjoy so much, definitely opens up more possibilities in future.

This week I'll be putting out many eps of every other series we doing, and ending the week with a new show (a shorter one again). Feel free to guess, but I don't think anyone will get it. Can't wait, Ikuzo!

Watching you rage against Chong (or red hair) has been a highlight of these reactions. He's just a genuinely good guy, a little slimy and self interested, but still a good guy. Beru is here! Igris is still my favorite, by Beru is still pretty awesome. The demon castle was special, he couldn't arise any demons. And you're wrong in a big way, this show is only just getting started. Remember we've only been in Korea so far, which is a pretty small pond on the international level.

I can't help but love Chairman Go hes such a precious old man and his excitement towards Jinwoo is weirdly adorable. And shits about to get deep the story is not over

Just to clarify a few things. There are roughly 2 reasons as to why Jinwoo isn't able to "Arise" something that he has defeated. 1 is that the enemy is stronger than Jinwoo and therefor can resist it, some examples of this are Igris before Jinwoo's speech to him and the other is the Elf boss from the red gate. 2 Is that the shadow extraction just isn't available, we see this with pretty much all the demons in the Demon castle dungeon including the Demon Monarch. The only thing in the Demon castle that Jinwoo could "Arise" was Keisel, the wyvern looking thing. Also, there were 2 curious changes that they made during the Jeju island raid. The first is the camera didn't malfunction in the web novel or the web comic they cut the transmission as soon as the S ranks started taking casualties in the nest and decided to continue the transmission when Jinwoo showed up. The other is that it was the Japanese hunter's intentions to abandon the Korean hunters to die and then clear the Gate themselves so as to try and get Geto named as a national level hunter, a title only obtainable by clearing an S rank gate.

Now that you've finished what there is of Solo Leveling and really enjoyed it, I highly recommend you add Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen to the list. Probably the best two new-age anime we have so far.

Note about the healer: He was the healer that had retired that the red haired S rank was trying to talk into coming at the cafe. He told him he didn’t like the violence and wanted to retire and enjoy a simple life. In the end he decided to support his friend because he knows how he battles and wanted to be there to heal him. That’s why his death affected him so much and why he pleaded for him to be released.

This was so awesome man. I didn’t expect this at all, such a good experience. I think the show should continue just for the sole purpose of how peak the manga is. I would like to see it all animated lol.

This is not the end of the story btw. Tbh, at the speed this anime is going, they’re gonna need at least like 3 more seasons. In the manwha, the creator called this the end of season 1 lol 4:15 Jin-Woo is a peak MC. You’d expect someone as dark as him to just use the soldiers however, but he also acknowledges the person as they were. Praising him out loud even after making him a shadow soldier, knowing that he had true relationships with the people around him. And the whole time, Jin-Woo doesn’t even plan to keep him. 5:10 When he first met Jin-Woo, Baek Yun-Ho laid a hand on his shoulder threateningly. Jin-Woo told him “you should be thanking me” even though Baek was definitely the stronger oof the two. Later, he lays a hand on Jin-Woo’s shoulder as a gesture to help him. Baek noticed that he wasn’t so clearly stronger anymore. Now, he lays a hand on his shoulder, knowing that he is indeed inferior to Jin-Woo lol 10:50 Yeah you’re not crazy, that guy came off very shady. Reminiscent of Kabuto during OG Naruto. He’s not a villain though. I was thinking the same thoughts when I first read it. 14:20 Spoiler without spoiling: Beru is serious. “Loyal” is an understatement. 23:15 The Jeju Island raid was composed of multiple Asian countries’ highest S and A-Rank hunters. There are stronger people (Like Thomas Andre from America), but in the manwha they’re considered “Country” rank. Higher than S. They have the power and influence of an entire country. I’m sure they’ll get screentime soon enough. 26:00 🤦🏾‍♂️ it’s not happening, Sakura. 29:00 For the anime, that does look like a fair ending point. However there are more loose threads than it seems. Everything about his father. Anything about the two guys that showed up through the portals where his dad was watching. Why the gates started appearing. What is “the system” and why did it pick Jin-Woo as a host? They’re all questions that could just be left for fans to theorize, but it’s all been answered in the manwha already. Sadly, the creator died as the story was ending, and he didn’t get to see the anime debut.
