Juliet

VINCENZO PLEASE! LOTS OF MAFIA, ACTION AND DARK COMEDY!!

Hanin

Watch Strong Woman Do Bong Soo, the drama is very interesting and includes all categories of action, comedy, fantasy, romance

yuuki aka missiletea

my recommendations and spoil-free descriptions: Big Mouth/Big Mouse (2022): A Thrilling Crime-based suspenseful mystery drama that follows the story of Park Chang-ho, an incompetent lawyer with a less than 10% success rate, who gets dragged into a murder case. Soon, he finds himself framed and must work to clear his name. Vincenzo (2021): A comedy action crime (with a hint of romance) drama where a Korean-Italian Mafia Lawyer, Vincenzo Cassano, comes back to Korea and unintentionally gets involved with a corrupt conglomerate. Flower of Evil (2020): a thrilling romantic psychological mystery drama about the story between a married couple and the dark past that tests their trust in each other. (trust it’s VERY thrilling, i would describe more but everything is a spoil for this drama) The Silent Sea (2021): sci-if thriller dystopian drama where a group goes on an important mission to the moon to seek out samples that could help save the world, but something is lurking in the abandoned space station they are sent to. mind you these dramas are ones to pay attention to, the details are insane, and the theories that will come to mind while watching will be crazy just also be careful with comments and looking at them cause people might spoil by accident

ParkMinJeon

Y’all kno Alice in Borderland coming out in a couple days lol that’s your drama right there , well jdrama. Unless y’all giving us two drama’s 👀👀👀

Hannah

I don’t think anyone has ever suggested this but I really hope y’all get the chance to react to World of the married it’s a Kdrama with a revenge plot line and crazy twists it’s so good that when it was released in 2020 it become the highest-rated series in Korean’s cable television history

ParkMinJeon

*chants* Vincenzo , Vincenzo , Vincenzo

Bricey
>>97868009

Crash Landing on You was a ride! I have to go rewatch that one.

>>97869834

Probably because they’ve put at the end We are thinking about our next Patreon exclusive kdrama :)

Mya

Alchemy of souls!

Lorris

Vincenzo or It's okay not to be okay:))

Maya

Although "it's okay to not be okay" is a fucking classic. I agree with the "Alchemy of Souls" recommendations because it's not like any drama you guys have ever seen, it's fantasy so it's a totally different genre from what you've seen so far. And I think a lot of people are interested especially now that s2 is airing

Annie

I honestly think you guys would love " Big Mouth" or "Revenge of others" both shows are on Hulu :)

Shay Peart

flower of evil, taxi driver, lawless lawyer, our beloved summer or what's wrong with secretary kim

Maia

itaewon class

Amanda P
>>97861832

Yes, I think Kang Ki-young who plays Attorney Jung in Woo Young woo is rumoured to be in it :D

Anaïs

Alright, I'm personally going to recommend series, just so you know they're not romance rom-coms. "My Country: The New Age", a historical drama series with two best friends during the founding era of the Joseon Dynasty. So you can expect action, battle scenes, dramatic scenes. The two best friends have a different vision for the future of the nation, and it will lead them to clash. "Insider", is a dramatic thriller whose main character goes undercover in prison. The series revolves around gambling, politics and gangs/criminal organizations. "Mouse", is a dramatic thriller about psychopaths, it's heavy and dark. This ask the question, if we can detect psychopaths in advance ? This series is really great. "Vagabond", this is an action-packed series that mixes incredible action sequences, comedic moments, exciting story and a bit of romance. It's about a young man who goes looking for the truth behind the death of his nephew in a plane crash. Also, maybe one day you will be interested in starting aside Chinese series. One thing about these series is that they are usually long, especially the Wuxia/Xianxia or historical one, from 30 to over 80 episodes. So it's dedication. Maybe you want to try while watching other Korean series at the same time. Anyway, a recommendation : "Joy of Life" (46 episodes), it's Wuxia (I recommend that you search for the term if necessary) there is everything, action, power struggle, war, romance, friendship, family and more. That's all for me. The most important thing is to have fun for you, and I hope you will. Have great holidays. :)

Mikkeai8908

Y’all should do polls for the next runner ups of kdramas. There are so many great suggestions.

Anaïs
>>97862957

I agree, people love rom-coms in typical K-drama fashion, but there are so much gems hidden, Beyond Evil is one of them, great thriller.

Anaïs
>>97869708

They will be so confused LMAO, but yeah it's two different shows. I hope they pick up Mouse, it's really thrilling.

audrey

i really hope they watch vincenzo

Anaïs
>>97872033

Can you please correct for Big Mouth, as I don't know if you are aware but another thriller drama is called "Mouse", these are not similar series and they might get confuse. 😭

elio

hoping big mouth is next on the list 🤭

audrey

Taxi Driver or Vincenzo, Alice in Borderland is another good one(it's Japanese though)

Royal Yaya

Big Mouth or Mr.Queen (for something a little more comedy). Big Mouth is one of my faves for 2022. I ignored it at first and didn't watch it until a few months after it had ended and just watched it on a whim when I was sick and I regret not watching when it first came out lol.

Ri Ta

Mr Queen for a highly hilarious historical kdrama

Martha

Ooooo how exciting! I think if you’re after another zombie show then definitely watch Happiness, came out last year. But also like everyone else on Vincenzo, Crash Landing, BIG MOUTH, Taxi Driver, The Red Sleeve….or y’all can do a poll

If you are looking for more romance dramas to watch to switch it up a little bit, I recommend “Its okay not to be okay” its my all time favorite romance kdrama. Its really different from the ones you would normally see. If you want more action I definitely recommend Vincenzo. I would be happy to see its okay not to be okay reaction though.

sp

Ya'll would eat up Flower of Evil, Vincenzo, and It's Okay Not To Be Okay! All 3 shows are on netflix too and are my top 3 kdramas.

mscurlsncurves

Also....I've been trying to think about recommendations...if you guys really loved Ha-ri...then Uncanny Counter could be cool...it gives off Sweet Home vibes....I watched a couple episodes but stopped...but I'd definitely watch it with you guys. Unfortunately, it's by Studio Dragon, so it'd have to be Patreon only. I also loved Snowdrop on Disney+. It has my fave actor (and ONLY Korean crush) Jung Hae-In and it also has the actor who played the secretary (Sung-hoon) but he is completely 180 from this character...I hated him! I don't think it's Studio Dragon, so it can cross over to YouTube if you want...those are my top picks! ❤️ I'll also give a special shout out to Beyond Evil too...love you guys!

Terra
>>97893133

I did finish uncanny counter and I think they would really enjoy it

It’s Okay to Not be Okay is really good & so is Tomorrow

martina1712

I recommend it's okay not to be okay. My ultimate favorite drama, superb acting of all three main leads, and the storyline and meanings behind it are literally perfect. Strong girl Bong Soon is my feel-good drama. I think I watched it like six times; funny and super cute, and the chemistry between the leads is the best one I have ever seen. As for comedy definitely Mr. Queen. Hilarious, again, great acting; the female lead embodied that role. Itaewon class enough to say Park Seo Joon... another great one. Basically, You can t go wrong with either one like Vincenzo, Flower of evil, Taxi driver, Mouse... suspenseful and interesting. Anyway, I will watch whatever you choose.

maria

I hope you can react to: Move to Heaven or Tomorrow. Both of them talk about beautiful topics, have an amazing cast and a well made script. Anyway, everything you will choose will be okay and I will support you.

Cintia

Flower of Evil has to be my favorite drama of all times and I've watched a lot. Alchemy of souls is really good and popular right now. I think you would really enjoy watching that as well, it is longer but definitely worth it.

Suzanne Austen

Flower of Evil or 2 Weeks is what I would suggest because I think you guys would enjoy them, and 2 Weeks is underrated in my opinion
