a cool parallel is that the very last line eren says in this episode is word for word the exact same line he said as a kid in season 1 episode 2 when he vowed to kill all the titans, except now hes talking about wiping out people

Just want to put a little bit info regarding “what am i to you” question. Fun fact, in Japanese culture, this type of question is literally a “kokuhaku” means a confession. If a man ask a woman “what am i to you” most likely they will get themselves a girlfriend, literally hinting that the person asking the question have feelings towards the girl and wants to know if the girl feels the same.

Greatest scene of all time for me. The part where he remembers his trauma of his mom being eaten, then zooms out through the Colossals as he says he'll kill all his enemies. I would be perfectly fine if the series ended with this as the final scene.
