Updated 7/24/26 for bugfixes.

Hey all, I'm back with a new mini mod that adds new cross stitch patterns to the game.  All of the new images can be crafted from the in game cross stitching kit using Small, Medium, and Large hoops.

The new patterns are listed under "Stitch From Pattern" --> "Flowers and Leaves", "People, Houses, and Designs", and "Animals and Other Nature".  The patterns also have different level requirements in order to unlock.  This mod requires Cottage Living and the XML Injector to work.

Haii! Just wanted to ask how you did this, I want to make my own custom ones <3

Hey!! So the cross-stitch patterns are stored in a painting texture. If you have the image, you can basically do it all in Sims 4 Studio. You need a recipe file which points to a PaintingStyle which points to a PaintingTexture, which references your DST image of the cross stitch pattern. The recipes themselves are contained in a Crafting Staging interaction which you can then inject to the cross-stitch hoops or box using the XML injector. Happy to help in more detail - maybe Discord would be easier? :)

Hi Jane, the current stich options don't show up in game

Mira Suri

Hi Jane. The mod isn't showing all the options. When I click on the hoop, it shows none of the new patterns, and when I click on the kit, it shows 3 categories labelled 'small hoop' which only let me do the new patterns on small hoops.

Hi Jane, could you update this mod please? It isn't working properly anymore.
