BTW I love the way you voice gotrek, it's why I recommend your reading over all others. It's a subtle tone but one that allows for a meaningful and realistically hard to notice slight tonal shift for some moments later in the series. At least I feel so.

Thank you kindly. I don't even remember how I ended up "creating" his voice, but I know I wanted him to sound different, both because he had to sound gruff but also different as a dwarf. I actually shaped all dwarf voices in other stories based on Gotrek, since in my head it was how dwarfs are supposed to sound, haha. I couldn't do a Scottish accent without sounding either terrible or stereotyped, I did the stilted thing. So every dwarf voice that isn't Gotrek is still a variation on that method.
