Man has been waiting for that moment for a long time. Really shows his loyalty to the dynasty its taking him this long for such an act. Also this definitely is apart of Virtue's plot to prevent herself from dying and/or taking over DP.

I feel like it’s a bit weird he, within one instant, shifted gears from insisting they leave the underworld door alone to telling her how to open it. Then again to deciding it shall never be opened. Meanwhile, DeathP and her legion of Hacks and Undead are prolly literally waiting on the other side, and that explosion is more likely to be Crow than Virtue,
