Just thinking out loud after reading the other posts. But isn't Crow "Best Friends" with a certain princess known to give villains way more kindness than they deserve? Rook could get a job at the castle. (As if Crow would EVER ask Mayapple for a favor.) (Side note: does Mayapple have a castle? She could rule from an office building for all we know. Would match the rest of Macro City.)
