So! now that Killjoy and HSC have wrapped, I'm dying to know. Which one did you like better? Feel free to comment below as well if you feel like expanding.

Honestly, it was hard to pick between the two... But alas, I'm a sucker for the background lore stuff. Both were interesting issues in that they explored a little bit of Crow's humanity, one where he wanted to prove it and where he's so wrapped up in his villainy that he's now uncomfortable with that side of him. 👏👏👏Volume two is looking very promising!!

Killjoy was fun and that twist about who killjoy was was hilarious, but I just enjoyed the dynamic between young Mack, Crow, and Mayapple a lot. Plus the added bonus of Crow being an unreliable narrator makes every that much more fun. Also robot law and order. I demand a spin off

I think I prefer Killjoy more so because of how utterly ridiculous it was. Also for the soap opera level twist at the end. No one saw it coming.

I am a huge crow x becky shipper so obviously I have a bias but I think both were incredible. I have always really wanted to see the characters back in high school and it was really interesting to see Crow, Mack and Mayapple working together. The intensity in the courtroom (especially that middle panel in the last page) was awesome as well. With Crow and Mayapple's exchange of words at the end, I can't wait to see more of this action. For killjoy apart from the Crow x Becky action I really enjoyed seeing Crows more human side and Becky when shes not super disciplined and stoic as she usually is. Also the twist of Crow having a fiancee was a shocker and I can't wait to see more of the situation and why exactly he has a fiancee. (also, it was nice seeing what Crow's moms hair colour is!) volume 2 looks awesome so far.

It was though to pick one or the other, they both were really good! But I guess I'll go with the lore one. I guess I'm still warming up to the idea of Crow and Becky, I'm not against it but I still don't feel quite involved yet. I'll observe how their relationship develops.

I loved both, but killjoy gave Becky AND Crow some development on top of the whole shipping aspect and I honestly find the secretary of evil fascinating as a character.

I enjoyed both of them a whole super lot, but I did enjoy Crow scheming and masterminding terrible plans because he doesn't know what a healthy relationship is.

I loved both arcs, but giving my vote over to Killjoy due to the panel of Mayapple quieting Crow at the funeral. She's really just raw emotion in human form, isn't she?

I loved both as well! Very close call, but personally I liked Killjoy better only because the banter and payoff of those two is just such a delight to watch unfold like that!
