There are only 3 options this can go. 1. Mack gives up his imortality, 2. Foxglove tricks Mack to be respawned instead 3. A third option that subverts our expectations

Wait I’m noticing a plot hole. Didn’t the light bulb guy and his partner able to respawn together? Why can’t this work for Mack and foxglove?

Guile specifically ask Bulb to not explode. (if they could respawn together, he'd have asked him to pick him up.)

Perhaps but Foxglove at least has experience getting out of bad situation once.... maybe twice if you count her death and surviving in sword world.
