The sound is odd, as I spend some time explaining, but for those trying to imaging how medieval horses were used in battle, there is lots here.

Horses were one-shot weapons

Cavalry horses might not have been as useful as you think. The more experienced the warhorse, the worse it might perform in the fray. Many thanks to those who invited me and looked after me at Evesham, and fed me nice food, and thanks to my volunteer cameraman, and to the cunning AI programmers who made this sound possible. My apologies to all the other people I interviewed whose footage ended up in the hands of a thief. I think this is a great example of video games giving insight into history. Specifically, the Total War series forces players to think about this exact problem, and offers a kind of insight that's hard to convey otherwise.

What tool did you use to fix the sound? We have a similar problem here and could use some help.
