This video is now published with three competing titles suggested on Facebook by followers of the Lindybeige page. It starts with a dramatic scene, imagining what it might be like for a worker at a resurrectionist's temple to have to deal with a stressed and uncomprehending customer. The customer thought that he had made the big decision by choosing to have his friend resurrected, but it turns out that the tough choice lies ahead of him...My camera, despite my using no 'gain' when shooting, gave me horribly 'noisy' footage, and so I ended up doing a very heavy-handed colour grade in the hope of disguising the masses of warring pixels in the shadows. The result isn't good, but I hope that it is at least watchable after the YouTube compression has its way...

Resurrection: Damned If You Do. Dead If You Don't.

Click this link to investigate what my sponsor Talespire has to offer: https://store.steampowered.com/app/720620/TaleSpire/?utm_source=lindybeige_vid_003 In my opinion, role play games should be dramatic, and getting someone resurrected should be a springboard for high drama, and not a bit of bookkeeping between adventures. Here I present a dramatic (and rather long) scene designed to highlight the state of mind someone might be in when getting a friend resurrected, and how that state of mind might not be ideal for making a very difficult decision. For reasons I don't understand, my camera coped very badly with the dark conditions and gave me very 'noisy' footage, so the dramatic scene has been VERY heavily colour-graded in order to combat the swirling and pulsing masses of pixels that infested the shadows. I didn't use any 'gain' when shooting, so the blacks should have been clean. Oh well. DaVinci Resolve's 'remove noise' feature was interesting in that rather than removing the noise, it greatly accentuated it, much to my disappointment. I usually don't have a luxury of watching your videos. Mostly I listen to them.
