Ashlyn's Clench Training Virus Loop has an updated release window, and it's bringing a brand new format with it. Subscribe to my Patreon to see the difference for yourself... if you dare ;)

Hey everyone,

I know you're all eagerly awaiting Ashlyn's Clench Training Virus Loop. This is one of the highest quality productions I've ever worked on and I'm confident it will exceed your expectations. I wanted it out before the end of the month, but I need a bit more time to prepare it properly. I decided to extend the video to a total of 28mins.

HDR video is being discontinued and replaced with 4K releases.

Earlier in the summer I introduced HDR upscaling to offer an improved visual format. After months of testing I've concluded that 4K is a more premium choice.

It better captures what I set out to do, a format with real visual quality gains, see the comparison below for details. I'll likely revisit HDR in the future, but for now 4K is the move.

Here's the same frame exported three ways. Notice how the HDR version loses the colour, while the 4K export keeps the detail and the original palette. The last image is zoomed to 100%.

Ashlyn's upcoming video will be the first new 4K release.

Thank you all for your patience and support ❤️

Stay tuned!

Won't be long now, thanks for your patience ❤️

I love your work, but from sept 25- oct 10 we got to nov 10, there were already minor delays in the past and this is fucking up the value we get for what we pay (doubling or tripling the cost per production), is this planned? And is it going to stay this way? Thank you for your time and content!

It’s really a shame that we have to wait so long; this was supposed to be the highlight of the month. I would have been perfectly happy with an early version, even without 4K. This is a case where high quality can actually be a drawback—it would have been much more satisfying to experience the standard version first and then compare it to the enhanced one, creating a real "before and after" effect.

Hi Namely, when you subscribe to my patreon, you are supporting my efforts as a creator. I provide estimated release dates to the community and do my best to meet them. If anything changes along the way I provide an update like this post as soon as I know for sure. If you would prefer to calculate your support to the project via cost per production, then you are welcome to wait and subscribe in a transactional manner when I release new content. I wrote this earlier in the September update, you may have missed it as it answers your questions: "It's been my priority to release new content every single month and I've been able to achieve this for awhile now. However, it's left me with very little time to focus on other essential areas of the project. In the coming months I will be shifting my attention towards those areas to meet some internal deadlines. Simply put, you may see longer periods between releases in the future. It's not because I'm putting any less time or energy into the project. The time and energy will just be going into the other areas that need to be improved. Once those tasks are accomplished I will be able to shift my attention fully back towards content creation with a stronger foundation set for the future."

Hey Mykolai, I'm working on making this one of the best videos I've ever made. It takes a tremendous amount of time, energy, and focus to achieve that. High quality has always been the focus of the project. Sometimes things take longer than I expected. It won't be much longer, and it'll be worth the wait. Stay tuned ❤️

Is there any possibility of releasing that 20-minute version soon, while saving the other one for the "Adventure" release on the dates you mentioned? Personally, November might be quite inconvenient for me, and due to work (which is highly likely), I might not be able to get to the video for a long time—so I’d really love to experience it, even in this version. Perhaps we could hold a vote on Discord? I think many people would like to experience the current version for themselves. Thank you!

blacktantra

The video is being completed as a full 28min production. I'll release it once it's ready.

Cooper

Your work is super high quality. Take your time.

blacktantra

Thanks for your understanding and patience Cooper, it won't be much longer ❤️

there's a saying "Don't let perfect be the enemy of good." I'm not exactly thrilled that I've been funding your time to go back and forth on HDR vs 4K content. It really doesn't fucking matter.

blacktantra

I’m going to make the decisions I determine are best for the project.

TeeJam123

And I'll decide where to spend my money. It's a simple concept. You're falling victim to feature creep and development hell follies. It's okay to R&D your stuff but you need to develop a more stable cadence for your deliverables. I've kept quiet, but you've been falling behind your own deadlines for a great while at this point

blacktantra

Thanks for your long-term support. I understand your comments are likely coming from a place of frustration — but keep in mind that if you’d like a detailed response from me in the future, opening with “it really doesn’t fucking matter” is not the way to get one. Because in fact it does matter. If I stuck with the old style of production, the entire video would end up being an orange color instead of red, which does not match Ashlyn’s persona, as shown in the reference image above. Beyond that, as stated in the post, there are many benefits — the primary one being that it increases the visual quality of the final production even for standard HD releases, which the entire community can enjoy. Contrary to your framing of me as a “victim,” making this switch actually reduces the steps in my workflow and speeds up the process. And in no way did I imply this switch caused the delay — the video is simply not ready yet. Since the inception of this project, I have always worked to improve and innovate on what’s possible. That means a lot of exploration and experimentation, and it’s the same process that has raised the quality of the content over time. It’s true that I’ve missed some of the deadlines I set. This month, it was primarily because I released the surprise Waifu Goonathon video as bonus content for the community. I thought I could fit it in between, but it took longer to set the proper foundation for it. It was a bit overly ambitious, and I take responsibility for that. With that said, I often set deadlines in a way that places extra pressure so I can maximize the project’s potential. I take on that challenge for the community’s sake, pushing to release new content every month — and that involves a lot of unseen sacrifice. I’m constantly working on this project, and I already told the community in the recent monthly updates to expect delays. This month I hit significant milestones on the website: I overhauled the entire backend and rebuilt it from scratch to support the subscription billing upgrade, and set up an efficient funscript system. I understand that what you’re ultimately asking for is a consistent release schedule, and I do hope that once the essential web-work is finished, I can achieve that. Does that mean there will never be delays again? Absolutely not. I’ll always aim for the deadlines I set, but various factors can shift them — I will continue to update everyone and release new content as soon as It's ready. As I said, I will make the best decisions I can for the project, and I appreciate the feedback and take it into consideration. You’re free to spend your money however you wish — and if the value of being a part of the community here isn’t enough for you, you’re welcome to wait and subscribe when new content releases. With all that said, I’ll shift my focus back onto finalizing the video now.

I don’t mean to pressure you, but in the context of what’s been said, it turns out that because of this "surprise," our main star has been sidelined. Since the topic came up, and I saw you asking for feedback on the new episode, I’ll share it here in the context of losing Ashlyn. So, the new Goonification episode didn’t personally thrill me; it’s a fairly basic JOI. Yes, the visuals are completely different, but the core concept, in my opinion, feels more like a step backward. Therefore, when you say you’ve prepared a "surprise" and it impacted the Clench Series, it causes... frustration, to put it mildly. I had similar feelings back when time was being spent on the LOL Series. I really hope the core of the content remains HFO rather than JOI, because it’s exactly the HFO that makes this content unique and one-of-a-kind. I understand the person above; their frustration is less restrained, and even though it was a bit too harsh, it's fair in a sense everyone was waiting specifically for Ashlyn 🥲

Mykolai Vohnev

I’d like to add that, objectively speaking, every video already contains a "femdom" element. In my view, singling out the term "goon" doesn't really change much, since the characters are designed with this theme in mind which is great, but creating a separate series for it doesn't seem like the best idea.

blacktantra

I understand you are frustrated you already clearly made that evident in your other comments.

Nihilix

I'd always rather you take the time you need to make your content as good as you want it to be. I've been part of this community for over three years now, and it's been a pleasure watching your project grow and improve so much along the way. I'm really glad to be part of that journey, and having seen your process firsthand and what it's led to over the years, I have every reason to trust it. And I'd like to think I'm far from the only one in the community who feels that way.

blacktantra

Thanks for your understanding and patience Nihilix ❤️
