This is tHE BEST DAMN THING I COULD'VE POSSIBLY SEEN TODAY 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Oswald

Welp fandom, we mustn’t let the flame die out

Buttonwife

I didn't realise at first but yeah... it's already spring so winter 2022 is still 9 months away, if you count December as the first month of winter. That's a huge contrast to the monthly updates we used to get. Granted, the more complex a game gets with how many different outcomes and paths it can have, the more time it will take.

starfruitelixir

I’m at work, now I have to sit in these soaked panties for the rest of my shift! Thanks for nothing! 🥴

Drunken Lemon

More than a year for a fourth day? I really hope this is one hell of a good addition to the story, because this amount of time to release a single part of a graphic novel is kinda crazy to me. I love the story so far, the art is great, and the canon plans for the future are promising, but I’m a little annoyed that comics and merchandise are being made when we only have barley an hour of actual gameplay; not to mention, day 3 isn’t even FINISHED yet. I’m hopeful for the game’s future, but more and more skeptical. No real hate, I just wanted to release some frustration on my end and wanting to see if others feel the same.

MxScarabyte

My day has been made! 😊

EEK IM SO EXCITED😊 it may seem like a long time but I am so glad you guys actually made a release date! It will be worth it in the end🥰

joifysh

i know it takes a lot of work to finish a game but like, i feel like we’ve been waiting a hella long time. “soon” isn’t 9 months…

DarkMaoMao

Excitement!! Yaaaay lol. My day is a little brighter now...

Lucivire

I'd agree but YandereSim says hi lol

vainilla chan

Until winter? Oh YB I need you now 🤭

Loren

When is winter in EE.UU?

Drunken Lemon

True, though this is a completely different game in that it’s not a sandbox, it’s just a graphic novel. The difference in the amount of time they each take to develop is huge- several years huge. I give YS a pass, but this case is ridiculous.

Mama Melody

IM SCREAMING! 🥵😱🥵😱🥵😱🥵😱🥵😱🥵😱🥵😱🥵😱🥵😱🥵

Alien Bunny

To be fair, the game is gaining animation. Animation takes longer.

Elysium-0w0

hmmm 9 months until day 4, i hope they are gonna come up with another announcement to clear this up and say "guys we are going to push updates through out the whole months until we reach december or november cause waiting for that loooong for an update for day 4 and finish day 3 is alot :/

Lucy Kenway

I CAN'T WAIT SO LONG T-T

McKenna Duveneck

... we're gonna have to wait another few months?

Drunken Lemon

Also true, but they’ve already made a pretty detailed animation as their 4th Day release trailer. I can’t see a realistic reason for taking this long to make just one day unless it’s going to have drawn-out cut scenes, but I doubt that.

vxnii !

I AM SCREAMINNNNGTH OMG

Puff Puff Pomf

I do hope that when day four comes out they have all the day 3 stuff fixed and all!

Samber

I guess its understandable if its a fully fleshed out day they release. Not to be too optimistic but given they chose to go with a flashy little animation I feel like that suggests a much more finished aproach than the last days. I dont mind either but I hope the long wait will result in alot of content. I guess it depends though.

Prince Abel

screaming, crying, throwing up i'm so flippin' impatient for my horrid little golfball man [endearing]. Dx

Savannah

Dear lord, winter of 2022?! Is that only the beta version? Not the complete day with all the missing paths?

Floweramon

The people complaining about the projected release date really don't know how hard making video games is. I'm just happy that it seems to be coming out this year, although don't stress yourselves out if you end up needing to extend it! I'd rather the game be good and you all in good health rather than you rushing to meet the deadline at the risk of the game quality and your health!

Carolina Dias Naughton

I don’t use these words lightly but screaming crying throwing up. Also winter as in southern or northern hemisphere? Cheers from the Southern Hemisphere!

Bonnie

It'd be amazing if it was southern hemisphere winter, but sadly I'm sure it's northern hemisphere

Yasmin Lipfert

*coming this winter* IT WILL TAKE TIL WINTER?! And here I thought we would get an Update after 6 months. If it's that much work...why would you concentrate on comics and merchandise? That seems like a poor use of assets....

Yasmin Lipfert

I mean...I think its more about the fact thats it isn't even the entire game. Also...we never really got an estimated time. This is the first time we actually got a date for a release. Many people thought, that they would get an Update after 6 months wait. Now it will take another 6 months. ;_; Especially if they had time to make a comic and Merch for a game that isn't finished....

Yasmin Lipfert

I mean...if its that much work...why even focus on a COMIC and on MERCH?

JP

I can't wait, the animation is amazing

eun jee

i think the long release time can be broken down into how we’ve seen the quality of each day gradually increase. day one was a good prologue, various paths you can take but still relatively simple for the premise. then, as day two and three come along, we can see how they’re writing in more detailed scenes and paths into each day. the team behind the game is adding so many new things, like paths, new sprites, new characters, and animation, and still working with voice actors as well. so i feel like we should cut them a little slack on release times. plus, they’re working with an indie team, not a company, so everything takes a bit longer.

Remi

Im so excited ! thank you for all your hard work <3

Vee

I’m not mad at the release date. Games take long time and their team isn’t the biggest. I’m fine with that. However, what I’m very concerned is that day 3 is STILL isn’t fixed and buggy or fully done for what I have seen. And in between while fixing the game there is merch, comic and other stuff. For me if they tend to release day 4 this late. I hope they fix day 3, and day 4 being a bit longer. For me I just want my money to go to the game. Which I would like to be at least playable.

DarkMysticTulip

I am literally screaming~ I can't wait to see all the hard work you and your crew put into this! But I am curious, I'm fine with waiting for Day 4 and all the animation they will add into it. But with all the new BG and a new Path for Day 3 it did get me curious when they will release a new link with Day 3 fixed.

✨❤️Sara❤️✨

Honestly, winter of 2022 which is the end of this year isn't that bad considering how big the team is working on this. I would rather wait it out for it to come out right than it be rushed and it be sloppy. I'm excited :)

MorseAlphabet

I would like to express my respect for your hard work. Please take care of your self.

Peanwii

I'm so excited for this!!! I'm glad that I became a Patreon to you first.

sweet bunny

I think the reason it’ll take so long is because day 4 will be pretty long. we will be going to a whole new environment so they have to draw new backgrounds, have to write the new script, possibly new faces/poses for Peter (or other characters too maybe) and since peters plan is unraveling there would maybe be certain scenes like when Lucy fucked us so inverted might draw those too adding to the pile would be the fact making games is hard as shit

Anna

I’m shaking and crying rn

Lullaby

*frustrated simping*

Bcreativity

I wonder is the day longer.I personally hope next update. We will have a save and load feature . With a skip button for day 2 .

Kayla Shaw

THE CAPTION LMFAOOOO

Olivia Volk

100% this summarises my thoughts as well. Having a satisfying 3 day narrative without the immersion-shattering 1 path Natalie glitch right at the end would be a good way to keep people interested and probably would generate more patrons. I'm willing to wait longer for the product the devs feel is their best effort, but if Day 3 is just ignored in the meantime it'll be quite frustrating.

Tera

Ehehehe I can’t wait to see what you guys have in store!

Lucky_Cat

DAY 4 COMING WINTER?!?! WHY TEASE US

banana_man 21

Man I just want to know when the new fixed link for day three comes out so I can get reinvested in the game. I don't even care if its unfinished, just something is better than nothing after 6 to 7 months of the broken link. I'm fine with waiting for day four, I just want the updated day three.

Ellis

Day 4 taking longer makes sense. Not only is it a new environment (new backgrounds, cgs, script etc.) but it's also gonna be more exploring involved inside his house. So that's gonna be a whole nother beast to tackle code wise. I honestly don't mind and am stoked for it. I'd rather it take longer and get the proper treatment then be rushed.

CatMan-Aruru

Wow, it's rlly cool animation!!✨✨✨ I can't wait. I support you〜〜✨😍💗💗

Artfreak29

A Skip button already exists ^^ Just Press "Esc" When your playing the game. And you can skip text you've seen before.

Lyvia Shelton

they're doing that, and making day 4.

Lyvia Shelton

(which is why it's gonna take till winter to get finished.)

Lyvia Shelton

well from what I know day three will fully be fixed. new sprites will be added along with more paths and new backgrounds. It's not like it will be late winter, probably early actually since that is far away.

Lyvia Shelton

This is so day three will fully be fixed: and new paths will be added. and not only that but new sprites and animation, along with voice acting.

Lyvia Shelton

I mean, im writing a story and it's gonna take a lot longer than 9 months to be finished. But as creating a game for all of us enjoy, just imagine what they're going through

holyschnitzel

day 3 is not being ignored. Nat is actually working on it now. before that, they were simply working on the MAC version :)

Yasmin Lipfert

Not sure how that refutes the "comics and merchandise" argument though. If there is so little time to begin with, then why focus on comics and merch? Thats usually something you do if you have lots and lots of assets. Which, according to you, she doesn't have.

coley

OOOOOO! i cant wait <3

Trang Bùi Thu

oh my god, i can't wait, it's so good

Floweramon

The comic and merch are to prevent burnout while maintaining interest. If they are only working on the game day in and day out, like I said, the quality is going to suffer because they are spending too much time on one thing. If they kept going at that pace, the more likely result is that either we'd get a broken game or the project would be cancelled due to the toll that would take on the team's health.

Floweramon

Expecting the entire game by now, with the amount of branching paths and choices, again shows that people don't understand how difficult this process is. Games take a long time to make, especially ones with this many choices and variations in paths. As for the comics and merch they're are to prevent burnout while maintaining interest. If they are only working on the game day in and day out, like I said, the quality is going to suffer because they are spending too much time on one thing. If they kept going at that pace, the more likely result is that either we'd get a broken game or the project would be cancelled due to the toll that would take on the team's health.

Peachwood

For me it’s more the lack of communication about how things are going. Even if making the game was completely stalled, a monthly update detailing how development is going would be nice. So far it’s been very vague “it’s coming along!” After months and months. Personally I’m bummed feeling left in the dark.

erenscanongf

hello fuboo!! i really appreciate your hardwork on this game and you deserve so much more than what you got. i've been wanting to ask you one thing for so long. everyone in the fandom, also me, liked peter's voice actor. so why did you change it? i would really want to get the old voice back. thank you from now if you could change it back to the old version. but of course, i respect it if you can't. sending all my love to you. good luck with everything!!

Penelope

If I'm understanding the situation correctly, he said some off-hand transphobic and racist things so he stepped down due to backlash.

Penelope

I'm with you though, I very much prefer the old voice actor. The new one isn't 'bad'... he just doesn't seem like a good fit for Peter and his personality.

erenscanongf

oh that makes me so sad to hear that.. and i also agree with you.

Yasmin Lipfert

I agree with Peachwood. If they would have communicated to us how far we actually are considering developement this disappointment wouldn't have happened.

Bcreativity

Thank you for telling me,it work !

Frog

OK U HAVE TO TELL ME WHEN IS WINTER IN USA BC I LIVE IN SOUTH AMERICA AND WINTER HERE IS IN DECEMBER

I can wait for day 4 😁

Yaay I'm so excited! 😍

Cheese-And-Rice, Mooney

I'm a bit confused so I'm going to ask for help here. I joined the Patreon today to download the game since I really enjoyed the Demo however I'm in a bit of a crisis😅 I can't understand how to download the new days, do I have to download the Demo and then that new link with all the 3 days or there's a different link with all 3 days? I don't know if it makes sense because English isn't my first language and because I don't even understand how it works so I don't know if what I said make sense😅 Still I really can't understand how to download and play the first three days. I know that I have to insert the password (which I already know is HelloDarling) after I download that link but I don't know if I have to download the Demo, then that Link and put the password.

Penelope

If I'm understanding correctly, you don't need the demo in order to play all 3 days. There's a link at the top of the page that allows you to download the game with all the days. But since you're new you have to wait for your email to be added to their database before it'll let you in. Usually this takes between 1-2 weeks but if you're still not able to play after that you can direct message the creator.

Penelope

So even if you download it and enter your email and password it won't work for the time being.

Penelope

Hope this helped and let me know if you have other questions 😊

Cheese-And-Rice, Mooney

Oh god thank you so much! I was really in a panic trying to understand what to do XD Thanks to your explanation now I understand what to do, if I have any question I'll let you know. Thanks a lot for your help!☺️

Penelope

Once you sign up for the patreon, I guess it's like a "wait list". You can try to open the game every once in a while, but once those 1-2 weeks are up and you're still not able to play there's a button up at the top of this page that says "message". Click that and let them know when you signed up, what your email is and leave it up to them. It's been a long aggravating process for a lot of people but it's worth it.

Penelope

Also, when you are able to play, just be aware that day 3 is bugged out so it changes your name, choices, etc so we are still waiting for that to be fixed.

Yasmin Lipfert

No offense to you, Penelope, but instead of writing 5 comments you could have edited your original one.

Penelope

No offense taken, I wasn't paying attention to the options lol but thank you.

2026-10-19 10:00 hi where can i find the game...? not just the demo
2022-04-09 03:24

Yasmin Lipfert

How can so many people overlook a pinned post`? I see the same question like 5 times a day.

Bluesy

Oh is there a link? I don’t see anything? Lol

Artfreak29

Here you go!~ ^^ https://www.patreon.com/posts/behold-another-57478940 Remember to read instructions, the decryption key is in the post. The game will ask you for your email and a password, Provide it your email you used to sign up with patreon and here's the password. HelloDarling Its CASE sensitive be careful when typing it in, if you followed all the steps and it doesn't let you in just wait a week and if nothing happens then you can Private message the creator ^^ <3

NanaCookie

Hi. Is it normal I can't enter the game when they asked for my Patreon informations?

sonii m

sorry to bother u but just asking since you seem to know but do you know how to get past the trigger warning when you login? thanks!

Cheese-And-Rice, Mooney

I mean, I can't blame them for missing the pinned post. Some device (like the phone) usually skip some post and go lower to other posts making it look like it's the newest post, also the pinned post at first glance doesn't look like the game link for majority of the new people. If someone has been there for longer they would know better about it because they saw it be published instead of joining after it was already published. If you read the start that say "Another link" not everyone will think of it as the game because most people that aren't in the Patreon don't even know about the fact that the game isn't actually complete yet neither of the various issues that they are currently trying to fix. Majority of them probably thought that the game was already completed and the pinned post at first glance doesn't seem like the link to the game because the title doesn't say game so they "ignore it". Well, not everyone but I think that some people were probably just confused

Artfreak29

Your no bother Sonii your perfectly fine! When the game opens just keep clicking at the screen until you pass it, you might have to keep restarting the game if it doesn't work. ^^

Artfreak29

Yes, Its perfectly normal. Just give it a week and if nothing happens in a week please contact the creator ^^

Penelope

You're right, Mooney. I think the other person just enjoys being rude for some reason -shrug-

KISA

where can I download the web version of Day2? I can't find an available link.

Mina Senegal

@Yasmin, You seem to have a lot to say about how some people use Patreon....

YTPMV Elf

I hope YB won’t treat Y/N as femininely in day 4 as in the previous days 🙃 I know most fans are girls but us gay guys are still playing too. Really I’d like an option for us to say our gender from the beginning. Nevertheless I’m still excited.

KukiKiu

Is just my point of view but I don't think YB treat Y/N in a femeninely way, I just think his cordialities and afections gestures can be for men too, as also NB persons, is just the way he shows his feelings and doesnt care about the gender still I'm agree there should be and option for select your own gender and pronouns in the game, would be more comfortable

YTPMV Elf

I haven’t played the game in a while so I don’t remember exact quotes but I just really got vibes from him of being treated like a girl. Since Y/N is supposed to be the player character, I find it strange that he would see me, a big hairy guy that only presents masculinely, then want to buy me flowers and call me darling and stuff. The way he acts can be for any gender yes, but I still feel like he treats Y/N like a girl. There’s also the fact that Y/N’s bedroom has pink heart wallpaper and stuff. And yeah a guy can have that but they would probably be a feminine guy

Yiran

I‘m looking forward to it！

Sparky111000

this is gonna be sooo awesome!

Lisc

Hi, did you make it?

Lisc

I'm really excited!!! <3 <3 <3 ,but I would like know ,when will be available? (the month)

Nesly Pizza

Well, what about me. I'm a girl and I want to be treated femininely and like a girl

YTPMV Elf

🤦‍♂️ that’s why I’m saying it should give us a gender option. There’s already enough games catered to feminine straight girls only

Nesly Pizza

Dude, yall should hire a team or something if it takes you that long to make a visual. novel i understand that this is really hard to make but you have a lot of people relying on you to make this work

Nesly Pizza

and also if you got time to make body pillows and animated trailers you got time to work on your game don't get high on the hype and let this become YS2.

Lisc

yeah :(

Lisc

The description, says : Winter won't be the only thing that'll be coming. . . So... Day 4 will come for november? ?? :(

Hermione Sherlock

November is still considered autumn. Winter season starts in December 21.

Fanta

whats YS2

Lisc

AHAHAHAAAAAA TToTT

Lisc

so December... 🥺🥺🥺🥺😿😿😿

Lisc

so December... 🥺🥺🥺🥺😿😿😿

Fanta

there *was* a concept about picking your own gender at the start, but atm it’s temporarily scrapped

Cuteknight

I think it might be an interesting add-on. It sounds like the creator is working avidly. With the flower thing, you do have the option to reject the roses... But it would be nice in a later update for you to say that you appear "feminine" or "masculine". I have a gay friend who would prefer to be viewed and treated as feminine.... I think we just need to patiently support and see if this is an option for the future. Remember... A lot of the main fanbase for this game will be women of all orientations. I can sense the creator trying to make Y/N gender neutral.

Cuteknight

I also want to say that I am glad men are supporting this game. You guys are awesome and will definitely change the stereotypes for visual novels. Like... A person who is extremely tall and strong should have more of a chance to be even in a hand-to-hand struggle with Y/B.... It would be really cool if there was an update in the future where viking build gay/bi men can be treated more realistically and have different scenes. For example, if Y/B tries to grab you from behind in the night it would be neat if there was a brief struggle that required Y/B to pull up an even more dirty trick to incapacitate you. Even if the flowers are the main plot point... The scene could be made kind of funny. Maybe he gets you a spiky cactus or succulent since those are trendy and actually kind of cool. You could name the plant even.

Cuteknight

I am SO excited. Please don't let our excitement make you feel like you have to rush. We all want you to have the best possible opportunity to put out the art you are envisioning. I have seen too many games give in to fan pressure and then release the game with a lot of bugs.
