Wednesday bonus post: Early Concepts (Patreon)

This map of Riven is so scuffed and so old, but I still reference it all the time when writing! One day I will draw a proper one, but until then, I love my one minute scrawl to death. It was drawn during the time I only really knew of Sive and Lyselin! ps. The word "Stall" between the tavern and the mercenaries office is the Swedish word for stables. lol.

[no spoilers] And the very first pages (+ a telephone doodle pfft) of developing OUROBOROS into an interactive fiction. Some of the early names for the characters in the top left! 

• Brivet/Bonnie is now Sene/Selene,
• Loren/Lara was a priest romance that never made it into the game,
• Verbil/Vera was a druid, but they got axed too
• Ante used to be what I called Leith!
• Oma's original name was Oona, and yes, at first I considered her as a romance option. Crazy to think.
• Idren/Ida wasn't even in the picture yet! I can't imagine this story without them now.

Hope you enjoy my chicken scrawls that I thought no one would ever see 🤭 Maybe now I'll stop writing my notes in pencil... And waking up with graphite all over my face. (very unlikely)
