i had the full build chapter 7 version i only downloaded the patch i pasted the gamefolder in to my original file, the loading screen has changed it even says version 0.8 at the bottom but for some reason i cant make my save go beyond the ending of chapter 7 i started a completely new save and just skipped through everything and even that didnt go beyond the ending of chapter 7

Have you try to restart the game? Also make sure the base_script.rpy is replaced by the patch (make sure to replace everything)

I have the same issue. 100% overwrote everything, main menu says 0.8, and it still ends at Ch 7 with Vega. It's the full Ch7 version from the previous public link.

Version 0.8 has a bug where images are missing in Chapters 7 and 8 for the characters Vivi and the purple-haired witch.
