May Updates & Announcements! (Patreon)

Greetings all!

Back again with another update on things over here but first off (another) huge apology for the absence & lack in content these past couple months DXBeen quite hectic in my rl at the moment but I'm hoping this journal will help clarify my current situation, this year's goals & plans for my art & the Patreon moving forward. With that said, onto the updates!

Getting the biggest bit of news out of the way, after some more (very lengthy) meetings I can finally say I've been given the employment opportunity I wrote back in March's journal (WOOP-WOOP!!) & will be working as an official Teacher's Aide starting next week's Monday ^^

With this new development in my life, I've given some thought into how I can fulfill my art obligations & still create content moving forward. SO! here's the lowdown;

First off. COMMISSIONS.Commissions are still a priority for me to complete, thankfully my new work hours are quite reasonable so during my days off I'll be grinding away at my commish-list. Which means new postings here will be commission-based for the next month. After all commissions are done, future openings will most likely pause while I become more familiar with my new employment.

I don't plan on "closing up shop" entirely, however future openings will have significantly less spots & frequency. That said, I still want folks to have the opportunity to commission art, But juuust a heads up that it'll be "far & few between".

Next up. PATREON PAGE.Sooo where does this leave my Pats? With my new employment, I'll be simplifying tiers & gradually converting the Pats into more of a "supporter page" for the rest of the year. I'll be discontinuing polls, & though I do enjoy running them I know I've failed miserably at committing to them. So, after I fulfill February's poll winner, Polls will be put to rest for the time being, atleast until I'm confident to bring them back.

Onto. TIERSWith everything being simplified, I feel it best that all tiers beyond "$3 Lil' Jumper" ($5 Whimsy Weaver, & $10 Terrific Tarantula) will be put on hold to any new/existing patrons who wish to join these tiers for the time being. Patrons within these tiers are free to change their pledge to the Lil Jumper tier & are encouraged to do so as future content to these tiers will also be put on hold.

I do intend to bring back higher pledges in the future, but for the time being I feel it best they're retired until more worthwhile content can be produced for them.

Finally, ART GOALS. With my priorities shifting, so too has my perspective on what I create, & how much time & effort I can put into my passions. I'm acknowledging my limits, & so for right now, I'm simply going to focus on creating art, building up on the skills I have, keeping content consistent & Keeping. It. SIMPLE! (Stupid XD). Whether they be finished images, sketches or the half-hazard wip! My main goal for the year now is to just create work that I'm proud to share, & for you all to enjoy ^^

PHEW!! Anywhos, thank you so much for all your support & patience over these past few years. I'm certainly looking forward to the future & what the rest of the year has in store!
