Another JBL to save the mid-summer blues! Glad you loved it! It is so nice to have some great acting! Nozue is so clueless, and I love Togawa's sly but direct flirting. I am not sure either about the 'girls' being into dessert places, I figured it was cultural, or just teen girls trying to find Instagram moments when they can't travel to places. The 10 year age gap is interesting because Minato's Laundromat is airing with the same gap, though a bit more problematic in that series. Eager as always to watch your reactions and comments.

Hi, Bryan! Nothing like a JBL to lift one's spirits right? The acting is sooo good, it feels very natural like I wouldn't be surprised if the actors became friends irl after this. Both characters are endearing and charming in different ways and I love them 🥺 with what you said about the desserts: I think it might be a little bit of both? Like, in Korea for instance they seem to have a big culture of cafes and places like that (which we don't have in my country, not like they do anyway) so maybe the Japanese like bakeries a lot? IDK. Either way, I'm glad I'm not huge on sweets or this show would be hard to get through 😅 Yeah, the age gap in this doesn't bother me at all. They both seem to be mature adults, like I trust they know what they're doing. Let me know if I should add that other show to the list once it's done! I've been loving getting your comments, thank you for leaving them 💕
