Hey Mari! I'm reposting my YouTube comment here. Thanks again! Thanks for your beautiful reaction here. I think the reason for the surgery part of the episode was to set up Mom's and Mhok's ability to work things out. I think this would not have happened so easily had the whole surgery thing not happened. It helped Mom and Mhok understand each other's point of view, and they really both wanted what was best for Day. I also love the idea of Night taking on Porjai and her baby as his own. It really helps with the character development of both of them both, and is so well portrayed by Mark and Namtan. Two things about Mhok and Day. First, Day has an unhealthy fixation with everyone "having pity for him". This has gotten so bad for him that he can't tell the difference between "pity" and someone being genuinely worried about him. They are two very different things. I fear this will always be a roadblock to his happiness, because he will always keep that "pity-proof" wall up around him with everyone in his life. As for Mhok, I agree that he should not have lied to Day about the job, but we could see him struggling with merging his "boyfriend" and "caretaker" responsibilities when he panicked about the guest being hit by a car, and when Day wasn't in the room at the appointed time. From my own personal experience caring for my late husband, I've kinda been in Mhok's shoes, and sometimes those two aspects of life can be difficult to reconcile. Again, kudos to Dr. Jimmy and Sea for their beautiful and nuanced portrayals of these characters. I think Mom's take on what happened at the end is pretty spot-on. It was nice to see her as the "voice of reason" at the end, and I was glad to hear he be hopeful that Day and Mhok will be able to work things out. Here, Cream has really done and amazing job bringing out the many layers of this working mom in a difficult position. As for Episode 12, it looks like maybe the two of them will take the time they need to grow into their own lives, and be better equipped emotionally to be together when the time comes. I was happy to see the hint that Night and Porjai might be getting married. Will it be their wedding that finally brings Day and Mhok back together? Let's hope for the best. Once again, P'Aof has taken us on yet another emotional roller coaster here, and he continues to prove what a talented and amazing director he is! Plus he has an amazing group of actors to direct as well! I'm still hoping this show wins lots of awards!

I just replied to you there!! Thank you so much. Oh, now that you're here, if I may recommend again: watch The Eighth Sense (you can even watch through my reactions if you like)! I would love to hear your thoughts on it ☺️

Am I ready? I don't know, but let's do this! Truth be told, I forgot most of what happens in this episode, except for the big parts. Day's mom asking Mhok to come when they remove the eye pads is a big moment to be honest. She's ready to let go a little. Oh I remember your camera stopped working. What terrible timing. This scene is as heartbreaking the 2nd time as the first time even if it was expected. And here comes trouble. I can't even enjoy the stinky scene and the cute morning one cause I know what's coming. I admit I like how Mhok struggles between his worries for Day and giving him space to do what he needs to and grow on his own. But I hate the decision he made to lie to him. I really respect Day for letting Mhok go. It's a tough decision, but ultimately I think he was right. There was other ways to do this, but it was the most efficient one, albeit also the most painful.
