[3 new Swords episodes and 6 new Stars episodes]

Well, let's get the obvious thing out of the way - the first comic is not a general statement that all women are evil. It's just about one guy being naive and dumb about the red flags in his own circumstances. I should have stuck with my original punchline of "I'll start my diet just as soon as I finish all the snacks in my pantry" but people are reasonably justified to be mad at me for this one. I will try harder next time.

What's Going On

I am still packing Sticker Club orders! Sticker Club+ members get a lot of stuff so they've been taking me a while each, and lots of people made special requests which I am doing my best to honour. The rest will definitely go out this week, because any later and I'm risking missing Christmas. If you're a Sticker Club member please fill in the form soon. I can filter out any duplicates.

Yesterday I attended a monthly cartoonists meetup in Wellington - there were about 15 of us! I probably talked a little too much about my plans to hit episode 1000 on the 8th anniversary. Keep an eye out for the new Kickstarter Blood Moon Frontier by my friend Anton - he's been working hard on it.

And I am working hard on a [secret paid project] - more info early next year.

The government have told me I should register a Business Number, which isn't a terrible idea... but I don't actually have a business name. It can't just be swordscomic, right? That's silly. Maybe hitting 1000 episodes will be a good time to really dig in and decide if I need Swords, Stars and Steel Tribe to fall under a bigger brand blanket. Something like Qwesting House, or Story Shards.

I'm so close to the end of Season 2 of Stars now that I am forgoing the rest of the crunch-a-thon and just finishing up to episode 200 anyway - so expect it to get the eBook and bonus content treatment around this time next week. I don't think I'll be doing another jump up in resolution for Season 3 like I did between 1 and 2 - the format it's in now is pretty comfy.

It looks like they've already capped my earnings after a day and a half. They underestimated how powerful I am. Still, I made a promise, even if I didn't know that would happen.

Some me things

This week I have been daily journalling. It's worked out pretty well so far, but it definitely shines a light in some holes in my productivity too. You can fix what you keep a record of.I've been watching Taskmaster UK, Taskmaster AU, Smiling Friends and playing Silksong - I think I've thoroughly completed Act 2 now. There is nothing else that I can find that needs doing. That includes all the Hunting logs.
