[1 new Swords episode, 2 new Stars episodes]

Thank you to Chris, Nick, Adiel, Krallenotter, Whazzup969, Nicholas, Robbie and Cody for joining Patreon this week! I appreciate you being here!!

What's Going On

I'm not gonna sugarcoat it friends - I got ATTENTION-JACKED pretty bad this week. That's right, Facebook pay the Swords page ad revenue now, so I've been schemin'! I've been toiling away! I've been checking my phone too much even though I deleted a lot of other social media off of there on purpose! It's full goblin mode while we watch big number go BRrRrrRr.

It's still a small thing compared to Patreon, but like I've mused on before, I'd much rather spend your gracious offerings on growing the brand than on my basic necessities. I'm hopeful this makes that easier.

Facebook users are a bit more... honest, so it does require more moderating than I might like.

If any marketing wizards out there wanna help grow this thing, let's have a chat??

I got a mention in New Discovery Features: Roadmap, Feedback, and Results! - where Patreon CEO Jack talks about the enshittification of social media as a whole, so I'm sending real mixed signals here, I know!

A little bit of planning for next year's projects is going around, but nothing too juicy to report on right this moment.

Matthew Things

I'm continuing to use a journal daily. It's been good for keeping track of some things, but it's not as good for long-term planning. I have to keep two different notebooks currently. I've also been pasting in motivational mantras each day, but they're not very actionable so I'm not paying enough attention to them.

I've been watching Taskmaster UK, Taskmaster AU, Smiling Friends and playing Silksong - The game says I am at 100% complete, but it is lying because I still have to do a very difficult jumping puzzle. But I'm almost done.

Cackling at "the game is LYING" 🤥 FB does love a good "dress bread knight up" game

It DOES feel like artist Twitter! I'm glad that made Jack happy 😁 Here's hoping it stays with the lovely community feel
