[Newsblade] Bean A Minute (Patreon)

[2 Swords episodes, 3 Stars episodes]

Swords is taking a little psuedo-break while I wrap the Swor'nament. There will be some Quest Sprout content leading up to Qwestmas.

Thank you to Peter, Bruce, Anthony, Sameer, Samned, Colin, Piero, Chucklenuts76, Vesa-Matti, Luthien, arcaninef2 and Jacob for joining the Patreon recently! Welcome aboard!

What's Going On

Science Officer Bean has beamed down to Makeship for their Black Friday Sale! It's as good of an excuse to kick off Stars Season 3 as any, so expect lots of episodes while the campaign is running. Maybe hitting 100% funded will even impact the story?

Here is a $10 voucher towards your next order of Swords: Cut The Deck. If you are a paying patron, you can get a $15 voucher in the Patreon Chat. Thanks for your support!

If you are a paid member and you are having trouble accessing #paladins-keep on the Swords Discord, you need to go to your Patreon settings and link Discord and Patreon from Connected Apps

We're now hitting over 1 million views a day on Facebook. Not bad, but I think we can aim higher.

Anecdotally, shocking and weird content gets more shares and travels further, but wholesome content gets more followers.

I made a heatmap of the series with the episodes that are performing best on Facebook over the last month. There's some bias based on the fact I'm reposting the less lore-heavy stuff, but it feels safe to say Season 2 had a lot of good episodes in it.

Can you believe there are this many episodes of Swords? Wow...

I've been copyright striking big Facebook pages that steal everyone's comics for profit. Here's the kind of responses I've been getting:

I will be doing a live-reading of the Choplet arc here in Wellington NZ on December 14. More details when they go up.

Been reading some contracts this week, getting some work gig offers and I have some tax stuff to do. Eesh.

Quests

I said I would donate 50 trees if Facebook hit 50k members, and it has just passed 53k! But I've also been doing some reading about how without proper after care, planting trees can be unhelpful. Soooo I'm open to some feedback about the best way to spend $500 NZD (about $280 USD) in a positive, constructive way.New lore charts about Elves and Dinoswords (1227/1200) coming soon for passing a cool goal

1300 Patrons (1227/1300) - Choplet returns home and does not get eaten by a LichScience Officer Bean 100% Funded - The Theseus gets fixed and the adventure continues

Matthew Things

Once again I've been taking matters into my own hands around the neighbourhood, getting sweaty and fixing things that I see broken. Or breaking things that shouldn't be dumped in the middle of the street for 3 days. What I'm saying is, I'm trying to be a positive force and local businesses are starting to notice and help me out when they see me in action.

I'm finally getting a haircut this week. lol

The usual culprits : I've been watching Taskmaster AU, Smiling Friends and playing a bit of Silksong. Savage Beastfly isn't so bad the second time around.

I have a lot to do before Christmas. A TON. An armoury's worth. I'm afraid I have to dig deeper than I have ever dug and go full Tech Orc Industrialist Mode because Goblin Mode just won't cut it. The cleaner my slate is going into 2026, the better time we'll all have! So let's kick some butt!
