[Newsblade] Patch Notes (Patreon)

[7 new Swords episodes]

Happy new year!

Thank you for joining Allison, SoFresh, Merry, MMMurdoc, Rob, Farseer, Jacob, Zach, Steven, Venty, Leo, Dr. Tom, Jacob, SkullSphinx, Mittens, Malik, Gianni, Chris, MindZai, Angel and Afroman!

I am currently still on holiday, so my availability is mixed, but I'm doing my best to stay on top of things while also giving myself some space and grace to chill out, eat chips and nap in the sun.

There are 6 more episodes of the Swor'nament that will go up this week, concluding the story with 70 pages and a final winner! A few people have been asking - the winners are determined by a D20 roll, which was a decision made by the participants a long time ago to keep things equal.

I've made a number of changes to my Patreon tiers to usher in the new year, here they are:

Sprouts and Paladins as well as some old, retired tiers now share a Discord role, Paladins of Patreon

I've removed Bean from one of the artwork pieces, to reduce brand confusion

Sticker Club is now Sticker Knights

Sticker Club+ is now Collab Knights

Royal of Patreon is now Royal Knights

Sticker Knights, Collab Knights and Royal Knights now share a Discord role, Knights of Patreon

Collab Knights and above now get their own Choplet design for the RPG Maker project

Collab Knights and above now get a Guest Comic

Collab Knights has a new mug design

Royal Knights and above have a new sticker, mug, t-shirt and sweater design for 2026

I've reduced the number of Swords episodes a week as God Tier stretch goals, because doing a comic every day is just too much and people think I deserve weekends

Added a new I Need It NOW Tier for the hardcore fan who wants closure urgently on characters like the Saber Tooth Tiger, Chad's Mom or Background Wizard #3. If someone wants to pay $12,960 for a year and demand 144 new Quest Sprout episodes, I will do it. You pick the character but I tell the story. Simple.

I'll continue to make a few small tweaks if I think I can add value to any of these tiers without overcomplicating the core offer.

Pay annually to save 10%

I'm not sure if there are any left, but I've purchased some gift memberships to join TheImmortalThinkTank and PaperGolems' patreons! Go get em!

I met my niece for the first time! Just call me the Uncle who works at Nintendo technically has a Lotcheck login for Nintendo's Quality Assurance portal.

I have a new crowdfunding project starting soon! I hope it sparks joy.

I had a little roadbump on Facebook when one of my comics was removed - but I appealed the decision and it's all sorted now. Hopefully my reach isn't impacted longterm!
