Here is the @swordcomic 2026 Swordtember Prompt List, made with prompts from everyone who offered some in an earlier post! I added a few of my own to cap off the beginning and end of the journey too.Feel free to join in on #swordtember and draw many swords using this list, if you feel like challenging your limits!I'm still not sure if I'm going to pause the A-Z project in the middle or not... very dependent on Tuesday's vibes, I'm afraid!! So many people are asking where the next one is already!

Swords: Cut The Deck: Choplet's Dungeon has been sent away to the printer for a prototype run. We've made some changing to the wording of a few Move cards, that we think will really streamline gameplay. We now clearly differentiate between Base Damage and Direct Damage, which means every Move card can be interpreted on its own without referring to a chart. It was a surprisingly simple fix that took a lot of iterations to get to, but it gives us some new creative levers we can pull on for the future too!

We've also done another pass on readability, making the text area darker, with brighter special text. Everything pops a little bit more now and feels less overwhelming.I'll be taking the prototype with me to NZGDC in Auckland at the beginning of October. I'm looking forward to playtesting this final_final_final_v14 version with you for one last stab at feedback!

Speaking of which... does anyone have a place I can crash in Auckland for a week? And is anyone driving up from Wellington who could take some boxes of Cut The Deck with them?
