About Fake Votes (Patreon)

Hey everyone, we wanted to address something important. During this voting period, we noticed a lot of suspicious votes coming in within a very short time from accounts/bots with random, unusual names like Jdjsdjdii, Hdhzjzj, and Dndjdkdosi. These accounts had no email registry and were all voting consecutively for the same three characters. Because of this, we carefully reviewed everything and removed those votes.

Here’s the final breakdown after the cleanup:

Patreon provides us with enough info about these polls to spot when something’s off, and we can identify fake votes pretty accurately.

We totally understand the excitement of wanting your favorite character to win, and honestly, if someone uses 2 or 3 secondary accounts to vote, it’s not a big deal. But when it gets to the point of creating dozens of accounts just to manipulate the outcome, it’s unfair to everyone else and goes against the whole idea of a fair choice.

Just a reminder: this isn’t about a private commission—it’s a group decision. We want to ensure the results reflect what the community actually wants and that everyone has a fair shot.

That said, if the same situation keeps happening, I’ll unfortunately have to restrict the polls to paying members only.
