Tawhiti the Taniwha (Patreon)

Been doing a lot of writing lately for Larnoa the Phantom's date in the dungeon dater follow-up. But I've gotten around now to redesigning the second date's design: Tawhiti the Taniwha.

Taniwha far are a part of Maori mythology here in New Zealand, and they're like serpent-like aquatic dragons. Tawhiti is prideful, arrogant, and confident. And if you weren't someone notable, he probably would've already eaten ya.

You can see his original design in the second image. A lot of people described him as 'chill', which I wanted to stray away from. It did not fit a Taniwha's vibe (even if the design itself is closer to how they are conventionally drawn). Also I am attracted to the re-design, very important.
