TW: gendered violence/abuse

Sooo, this vid is a little different. This reaction series kinda ended up being like the Fast and Furious series, told out of order. We skipped ep 6, and then watched this episode after we saw 7 & 8. Whoops. Anyhow, I know that there's generally two categories of people who watch the reactions, the first, those who watch the episode/series and then watch reactions. The second category of people are those who haven't seen the episode and watch the episode for the first time along with the reaction. In consideration of the ladder, I made special edits to this video. After my usual outtake section at the final thoughts section, I put in a spoiler section. In the spoiler section just has commentary that might spoil the rest of the series for those who haven't seen it yet. If you're in the former, watch the whole video to the end, if not, stop after the usual outtakes. This way everyone is taken care off. Plus, if you're in he ladder category, you can always watch the whole thing, and then come back and see the spoiler section. Enjoy.

I finally got back to this series. I needed a long break from it as it is difficult to watch. I think the psychological abuse of Maya saying "you're like me" was the most horrific of all- and there was a lot of abuse in this episode so far. I found the bathtub scene to have the classic water symbolism of washing away the past and the concept of rebirth. The embrace in the tub was a moment of such clarity and beauty. These actors deserve an award for this work. Nothing over the top and everything said through their facial expressions and eyes.
