im enjoying this show so far. so cute and charming. given the current tone and lightheartedness, i hope they don't go too hard into whatever this eating with people trauma is. if they try to make that too serious, i think it will clash with the tone of the show for me. depending on how its done i might even be okay if we don't really explore it that much at all. little flashbacks establishing the cold, posh environment that made him scared to interact with people to emphasize with how sharing meals is bringing him out of his shell. like he's already made progress, from minoru and tane to his coworker now, he's talking to people at work and outside of it. basically i just dont need this show to have family drama and would enjoy if it focuses on yutaka's growth with food as the vehicle for it.

Definitely they need to balance that aspect out but I'm finding it keeps me really intrigued in how he's changing because of this chance encounter. I think there's a lot of hope in finding a family situation and gaining joy in that so I hope the trauma doesn't become a conflict and is just to show where he started.
