Hi!!

I am happy to release the shrimp and their home! Everything that is included in this release:

🦐Shrimp Flexi - Two tail versions + Keychains
🦐Shrimp flexi 3MF files
🦐Tank - prints in parts

The shrimp is tested down to 50% with articulation, However I don't recommend going below 80%. I recommend to print with 3 walls, No supports, If you are having adhesion issues please use a brim (make sure to include a brim gap, I use 0.3 mm)

The 3mf is split to parts, but the eyes are hand painted, if you wish to repaint any part of the shrimp you can shrimply use the fill tool! Another way to change the colors of the sections quickly is to find them under the object list from the left hand side panel and change the filament assigned to them! Its fun adding all different colors to the shrimp and getting a variety from one plate without adding extra color changes.

The tank prints in parts and then is glued together. I have put together a quick assembly video click below:

Youtube shorts

The tank is 1:1 ratio with the shrimp. One 100% shrimp will fit into an 100% tank.

If you are using translucent filament for the tank I recommend printing with 3 walls which will avoid infill in-between the walls. All the other parts of the tank do well with 2 walls.

If you want the "glass" to be more transparent you can lower it into the bed until there's 4-5 layers only

Please pay attention as to how you are placing the substrate inside the base, as it needs to be titled downwards and then straightened out. This is shown in the assembly video!

Also take care when removing the parts of the tank from the build plate especially if it is still hot. I recommend to only flex the plate and never pull things off of it as that could cause damage to the parts.

The purple and pink tank in the pictures is 120% and the blue and black shrimp are 80%. I don't recommend printing the tank smaller than 100%

⭐As with all of my designs, I strongly advise that the printed models are not to be handled by children under 3 without proper supervision⭐

🦐🦐The tank is only meant as a PROP, it does NOT represent the proper size of fish tank that live animals will require. Make sure to always research the right size of tank for healthy happy pets 🦐🦐

There are a ton of different filaments used in this release. Please Comment below if you are interested in the names of any of the colors!

I think that sums it up! Let me know if I've missed anything 🥰

This is a patreon exclusive release. Patrons can download it free from the patreon exclusives link in the download post!

Rebecca Couch

Leah Ditch

Omg I loooooove this!!! I have 2 real shrimp tanks irl

S M

I have kept my printers empty waiting for these. I will be printing them today. Love it

3DForge

love it! please make a clown fish or something like goldfish pretty please

Craig

As an Aussie, this is fantastic to go with our motto of "chuck a shrimp on the Barbie" 🤣

CDream 89

They did make a fancy goldfish previously. I plan to make some for the tank. :)

Amanda Judd

I make habitats for flexis already and have talked about doing an aquarium! my customers are going to GEEK out over this one!!

S M

So much for my plan. We have lost power due to a thunderstorm ⛈️

Printcess Pixel

This is amazing! Your projects lately have been SO different than what you usually do, but still so very Layers in Green! lol I'm loving all the new designs! I can't wait to make one! I just saw a functioning, full scale tank from another creator that I really wanted to print, but I have no use for it to be honest lol. THIS on the other hand, I need 12 of these and I need them NOW... lol. Great job, thank you!

MoonRavven

Oh my gourd. I’m in love! They are so cute! I love all the colors you did them in! My husband adores shrimp. He’s gonna freak when he comes home to this on his desk!

Beca Lynn

Holy shit that is amazing

Cyndi Longo

Amazing!!! What color / kind of filament are the orange shrimp? That ombré is so pretty

Mikateri

Ha ha, looks just like my Fluval 5 😄

Giamarie Saponaro

what is the blue translucent you used? and when you say 3 walls was there no infill used then? Love this design its so cute!!

Christine

The blue for the “glass”? it’s cookie cad elixir 🥰 you would still need infill to print the bottom of the tank but by adding 3 walls the back wall of the tank ends up being all walls without infill

Leah Ditch

Do u have a good transparent clear pla suggestion?

Jo Allan

This is so so cute! Can you please list all the colours :)

Amber Dimond

Hello These are amazing and I can’t wait to print! Any chance you could share the filament used for the pink and neon yellow ship and also the little rainbow one? Thank you!

Hailey

Definitely need more fish for this 😍

Christine

Thank you! The link is ziro pla pro rose and the neon yellow is spectrum fluo yellow. the rainbow one is Eryone matte rainbow!

John Lauren Kaitlyn Jennifer Banks

Love it :-) Could you please tell me the tank color in pic 13? As well as the shell color? Thank you! An axolotl for the tank would be fun.

Christine

The base is Ziro winter, The substrate is ziro twinkling pink, the plants are hatchbox mint green, the shell and filter is Ziro matte purple, the bubbles is ziro winter but on a different part of the gradient 🥰

Mike Sprague

What's the orange gradient filament? Thanks

Kataleena Campos

These are adorable! Maybe I've just been overlooking it but I can't seem to find the file

SomethingKlever

How was 11 & 12 colored? It looks like 12 was possibly a flushed item - maybe 11? I love them, and want to recreate something similar. Tips please? Thank you.

Christine

Hii!! follow the link at the bottom of the post, it’ll take you to the download post, once there scroll all the way down and you’ll see the link at the bottom 🥰

Christine

the red one is a flushie! the rest are just single color prints. Add a couple shrimp and set them as purge into object along with your multicolor shrimp plate 🥰

Cyndi Longo

Hi! Also curious what color filaments the red and black are on the red and black shrimp.

Rachel's Crafty Corner

Can you please make some other animals to go in the tank like fish, snails, or hermit crabs? These would be so cute!

Kaisa Cardall

Hi! What 'clear' filament did you use?

Michelle T

This is so stinkin cute!!!

Michael Miller

Hey love this design, was wondering which filament the tank walls are in the 2nd and last pic (15)?

Aaron Whitehead

Too cute! I love this underwater theme, now I need more!

Michael Miller

I printed 4 tanks on my P1S in the Ziro winter with 3 walls not thinking of it being a gradient and now I have 4 blue and white striped aquariums lol 🤦‍♂️

BC 3D

Thanks for not making the eyes separate objects on this one. I'm able to have some fun with the variations now.

BC 3D

Ah, I've still got to figure out the merging before splitting to objects to prevent the eyes from falling to the plate.

Ruth Hein

Not me with $250 worth of filament suddenly in my Amazon cart after reading all the filaments used lol...

Jo Allan

hi, with the heart tail 3mf only 1 of the eyes is selectable and the other one selects the whole head. can this be amended please? Thanks

Christine

hii!! both eyes are merged to the body in those 3mfs I didn't split them to parts. in which 3mf was the eye selectable? and which version keychain or regular?

Louis Jones

Hi, i can't seem to find the shrimp tank on the google drive? please can you help

Teresa Hall

hmmm i cant find the aquarium link, are we only able to purchase one month previous of stls?

Christine

Hii!! follow the exclusives link in the download post, then in the articulated folder look for “shrimp flexi and fish tank” folder 🥰

Christine

Hii!! it’s in the articulated folder! look for “shrimp flexi and fish tank” you can use the search bar at the top where it says “search in drive”

Sadi Alford

im obsessed with the tank but, is there a possibility you could make sharks or fish or turtles or something? im not too sure people will buy shrimps ><

Danielle King

What infill would you recommend if trying to print transparent “glass” with clear pla filament?

Christine

I used a modifier to block the infill just after the inner bottom part prints as that part needs infill and the rest of the tank doesn’t.

Brandon Smith

How do I lower the layers to 5 layer?

me

can you make a flexi mermaid
