I bring another process video!! I'm so glad you're enjoying the updates :> Drawing Halsin is such a delight. I especially enjoyed giving him a winter outfit. I was chatting with a patron in the comments about it-- I wanted to bring to mind birch trees in a snowy forest with his palette. He's so in tune with his surroundings. He's at once an imposing and regal figure in his woodland realm but also perfectly situated within it, like another noble beast wandering the land. It's truly undecided on whether Halsin is an elf who sometimes turns into a bear or a bear who sometimes turns into an elf and we love that about him.

This panel was fun because I was growing tired of a makeshift pile of "stuff" in his tent that's previously served as a chair in many of my drawings. I thought it would be interesting to explore his druidic powers. An oak root from an old draping tree lying dormant in the cold blooms with life in the greenhouse of his tent.

And shoutout to lovers of this panel in particular. One of my favorites too for many reasons :) It was one of the first that came to mind and the rest of the sequence filled itself in around it. 💕
