Is there a list of US politicians, particularly those running for president, publicly promising to recognize Jerusalem as a wholly Israeli city & capital once in the White House? Also, some observers - like Max Blumenthal on The Real News - thought that there would be no official recognition because of its effect on Saudi Arabia's standing in the region. I still find Blumenthal's reasoning fair, and the question remains: how could Saudi Arabia publicly accept this and not lose face (or Egypt, Turkey, other Arab monarchs, etc)?
