Back in October, Rockstar Games fired 34 employees for alleged gross misconduct. The severity of these firings could have spelled the end for a burgeoning union effort that was underway, but it didn't. In fact, the union is now bigger than it's ever been before.How exactly did that happen? And what comes next?We also wanted to make some time to tell the story of one of the fired workers, in particular: Will Mesilane.Unlike the other dismissed employees, Will had moved to to the country from Australia on a work visa along with his partner and their two dogs. His sudden firing set off a domino effect of repercussions that have upended his family's life and as we await the full employment tribunal in September, we wanted to share their story with you all.
