Excellent thoughts about YouTube monetization. After a year of trying to produce video game content on YouTube that would appeal to the masses and smash that like button, I am in pursuit of something more unique. Certainly see a lot of "how to monetize" channels, which is depressing. Sorry to hear you have Covid, and hope you both recover quickly. I lost my sense of smell a few years ago, advantage is I cannot smell the family's farts, disadvantage is I cannot smell when milk goes off

Bit late to this post - the thought you’ve put into funding and sponsorship is a bit part of why I’m happy to fund PMG, and it was great to see Quinns working with you on video game stories given that cool ghosts couldn’t be kept going as far as I can tell. I do get weary of seeing the usual sponsors despite realising that the income helps creators - but it can seem like people are simply accepting the usual suspects - but I fund other creators mainly because they’ve been brave enough to sacrifice sponsorship and ads to create a closer connection to patrons.
