Hey patrons,

Following Quinns' first video on Roblox, we were contacted by a spokesperson for the company who asked us if we'd consider editing or even taking down our work, based on a blog post he'd found that critiqued our findings. If that sounds strange, just wait until you see the post itself.

As you'll no doubt have noticed, we have not pulled our original video. Nor do we intend to.

However, Roblox Corporation was not the only one who got in touch following that video going somewhat viral within the video games world. Roblox players and creators began contacting Quinns with stories of their own to share.

And here, in this follow-up video, are some of those stories.

I hope that if there's a significant push to stop these exploitative practices that PMG will take another look either while it's happening or after the fact. I know you don't want to make another depressing video on this subject, but I hope that covering the workers'/public's response (if and when there is one) will give you something uplifting to report on about this.

Thank you for spotlighting the wide corruption within Roblox! I had to donate after seeing this, because I saw all the warning signs when I first heard of Roblox when I was a preteen and always stayed away, but am always upset knowing my younger second-cousins play it religiously with no signs of stopping nor understanding the dangers and risks. I hope this vid reaches a wide audience and actually reaches political heads of govt and make them aware of this. Unlikely, but maybe some officials might try to do something about Roblox Co. one day...

It's interesting to see People Make Games reacting negatively to the in game market. It's good to see, as I sometimes worry it's just myself who is aghast at how normal we expose young children to gambling mechanics. I don't even think Roblox is a particularly bad example of it, Valve has a lot to answer for with its Steam Community Market that is a lot worse and is legally available to people 13 years old. Really good work on this video.

The Roblox Black Market goes even deeper then mentioned in the video. I would even go as far as to saying it barley scratched the surface. The Roblox Black Market has websites opening the easiest form of child gambling I have ever seen. The website is in a casino form, and Roblox players use real currency to buy these items, gamble them, and hope they get more items to sell for real money.
