Wow wow wow, our last poll was CLOSE! There was a lot of love for The Bourne Identity, Ocean's 11, and Mission: Impossible, and The Bourne Identity ended up being the winner by just a few votes. Based on your comments and recommendations, my plan is to watch the first three Bourne movies, and I'll go ahead and watch Ocean's 11 as well (those sequels might be a possibility in the future, but it sounds like that movie works as a standalone movie). Only after watching those movies will I start my Mission: Impossible journey!

This will be spread out and take several months to get through, so don't worry if action movies aren't your thang! There will still be plenty of room for other movies and selections as well. I'm looking forward to watching these movies with you!!

The first Bourne Identity movie is great, but the subsequent movies get progressively less entertaining as they go on.

I love it when a plan comes together

You are going to be busy! Likely by the time you start Mission Impossible you will be flirting closely with 100k! During that time you’ll be close to your favorite time of the year, HALLOWEEN, oops, I mean, kinda close to the Holidays!! Thanksgiving and Christmas! That’s your favorite time!!

Happy Tuesday, Addie. As an action junkie, I'm definitely looking forward to the Bourne movies and Ocean's Eleven (2001). It looks like you'll never run out of time for Matt Damon because you were "Bourne" to watch more of his movies. #MoreMattDamonForAddieCounts I'm also looking forward to the Mission: Impossible film series afterwards. Until then, enjoy The Bourne Identity (2002).

Glad to hear you're giving all three of those movie franchises a chance, I think you'll enjoy them all. The next Mission Impossible movie doesn't come out until next year I believe, so you've got plenty of time to get caught up :) I can't wait to see what you think of the Bourne trilogy, there are a LOT of differences from the books but they're still a really good time. I know you're going to have fun watching Ocean's Eleven. And yes, it works fine as a standalone if you don't want to watch the sequels(they aren't as good). BTW, if you do end up liking Ocean's Eleven, you simply MUST check out The Sting at some point if you've never seen it. It's got a similar vibe and it's one of the best movies of all time.

I don't like the M:I movies until part 3 and they just get great after that. The BOURNES are good. The OCEAN movies are what I would call entertaining.

Chris

I couldn't be happier lol

Happy Tuesday, Addie! 😊 Sounds like a good plan. Looking forward to watching three "Bourne Identity" movies first up. I love the first one. The second one is also pretty good. I haven't seen the third one yet. So, that'll be a first time watch for me as well. Looking forward to "Oceans 11" and the "Mission Impossible" movies to follow. Have a great day today! 😊

Addie, all I'll say is, The mission impossible films are Tom Cruise's baby. His money makers. If you thought what he did was amazing in Top Gun, it pales in comparison to the stunts you will see him do. You'll be watching and think "That is movie magic or some green screen or CGI" nope, it is not. If you think a Stunt Tom cruse is doing is Hollywood magic, it's not 😎

Philip Davetas

Yeah, I dig those Spielberg movies. I think a lot of people overlook those two.

Doug

Cool, for some reason I never got around to seeing Bourne 3 or some of the later Mission Impossible films so this sounds like a fun set. 👍

Looking forward to the Bourne trilogy. Top notch actors in all of them.

Addie, u should also watch the 5th Bourne movie: Jason Bourne (2016). Skip the Bourne Legacy with Jeremy Renner . But the %th one concludes his story. Also, u should Watch Ocean's 11,12 and 13. they're all great. Don't bother with Ocean's 8. . . Thanks a bunch, Addie.

Brian Lowery

All three Oceans films are great, imo.

Patrick Egan

Oh man, I would LOVE to see her reaction to The A-Team movie with Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper. I don't know why that movie got trashed by so many people, I have to wonder what they thought they were going to get from a movie based on The A-Team tv series. For me, it was EXACTLY the kind of movie I was hoping for. Unapologetically over the top and a rip-roaring good time.
