It's almost time for this month's Q&A! Ask a question, any question!

Alex Tan

For the next Addie taste test, how about some Star Wars Oreos? Red creme for the Dark Side, Blue creme for the Light Side. If the supermarket you shop at doesn't have any, you can skip this question. What are some movie musicals that you like that can be enjoyed by non-musical fans? In your last Q&A, you did mention that you were excited for the upcoming two-part movie musical adaptation of Wicked (2024-2025). Did you see the actual stage production of Wicked on Broadway? If so, what did you think of it and what is your favorite song from the play? Is Jeremy also excited for the upcoming two-part movie musical adaptation of Wicked (2024-2025) as well? Speaking of Jeremy, did you and him do anything special for your anniversary this year? Have you seen Inside Out 2 (2024), yet? If so, what did you think of it? If not, do you plan on seeing it in theaters with Jeremy or do you plan on watching it for the channel when it comes out on Disney+? My girlfriend & I saw it in IMAX with a friend of ours and we all enjoyed it. Now that you've seen Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), will you react to the original Mad Max trilogy with Mel Gibson as Max Rockatansky? Will you react to Backdraft (1991) with Kurt Russell, William Baldwin, Scott Glenn and Robert De Niro? Will you react to Click (2006) with Adam Sandler, Kate Beckinsale and Christopher Walken? And speaking of Adam Sandler, will you react to both Grown Ups (2010) & Grown Ups 2 (2013)? On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 is low, 10 is high), how hyped are you for Twisters (2024)? My girlfriend & I are very hyped to see the new movie in IMAX with our friend, this July. https://youtu.be/Jm27YjLnPHc?feature=shared When masking the movie footage on Adobe Premiere Pro, how do you handle the aspect ratio of movies or movies with switching aspect ratios? What is the style of movies that you like? What was the most stressful movie that you ever watched on your channel? Stressful as in it gave you so much anxiety and you felt exhausted & high strung after the movie. In general, are you opposed to watching anxiety inducing movies?

Simone's Coconut Squire

Have you ever considered doing a Jessica Rabbit Halloween costume? You already have the hair and flawless skin for it.

KingGoji94

Are you going to be looking at some godzilla films in the future like minus one the 54 film or the monsterverse for that matter? I saw that the new apes films were on the poll I recommend checking out the 68 film first because it's still a great film!

KingGoji94

I hope she does the og mad max films !

Andrew Storing

Have you ever thought about doing a reaction to The Karate Kid trilogy that stars Ralph Macchio and the Netflix spin-off series Cobra Kai? I think you’d like the movies cause it’s kinda similar to Rocky. But you’ll want to watch the movies first before the series cause the series is connected to them.

LightsCameraJake

This is a very important question for the Q&A: Are you going to clean that dusty dirty keyboard and dust the inside of that PC?

LightsCameraJake

So addie, you love reading books, if somebody were to write a book about you, what do you think it would be called?

Alex Tan

Hopefully she does, in between the Mission: Impossible movies. #MadMaxTrilogyForAddieCounts

Doug

Summer got me thinking about good movies with beaches, any thoughts on these or any you think I missed? - Castaway - Jaws - Mama Mia! - Forgetting Sarah Marshall - Surf’s Up - Weekend At Bernie’s - South Pacific - Saving Private Ryan

Randolph Tirazona

Addie?!? Have you seen Jerry Maguire?!? He IS Thee ambassador of Quan!

Thomas Wetherell

Hi Addie, I hope you’re having a wonderful summer. Would you be interested in reacting to any of the Transformers movies? I personally only care for the first three and will freely admit that they are rather immature movies, but I still think they are still fun just as action popcorn flicks.

Spawncalibur

Would you like to watch how Mad Max became the way he is? Really need to just watch the 2nd one. Explains much of the 1st movie in it and his reasons for not being attached to people and so on. Same actor that played Joe is main villain in 1st Max film. Different role, just as creepy. Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981) the best of the Mel trilogy. Rest just non-spoiler info, not exactly a question. 1st one good if you want more slow burn IMO. US release they dubbed over as they thought we wouldn't understand Australian accent. 1st Australian movie to reach worldwide claim I believe . Kicked off Gibson's career. So much to say, Ill stop. There is a large fan base in Mad Max. Just the stunts alone worth it lol no CGI.

Alex Tan

And if it were to be adapted into a movie, who would direct it?

drew

since its summer time do you plan on any shark movies my suggestion is jaws 2 and deep blue sea

PHILLIP CORNISH

HI Addie I hope you are all well. I think you stated in the past that you don’t react to romantic comedies?, but I recall you doing a “skit” (sorry new terminology for me) with Ollie for PCIB. As you enjoyed “Love Actually” would you consider reacting to the Bridget Jones films? Im sure that you and your Members would enjoy them.

Thomas Wetherell

Would you be interested in watching Charlie Wilson’s War? It stars Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts and Philip Seymour Hoffman and is a really interesting and funny true story about a Congressman who got America to support the Afghan rebels when they were fighting the Soviet Union in the 1980’s.

Neversure

What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

Alex Tan

You had me at "Hello".

Alex Tan

Speaking of Popcorn in Bed, now that you & Ollie presented the Poppies Award for Best Romantic Movie Reaction, will you react to the movies that were nominated (including Overboard (1987), Blast from the Past (1999), It Could Happen to You (1994), Fools Rush In (1997), The American President (1995) and Return to Me (2000))? #MoreRomComsForAddieCounts

Phil Stubblefield

I recently went back and watched two of your older reactions back to back: first, only your second ever reaction, to _Jurassic Park_ in November, 2021, and then your reaction to _Avengers: Infinity War_ a year later. Your growth as both a reactor and filmmaker is so evident! Do you attribute that to learning by watching yourself during editing? Feedback from viewers? Some combination thereof? (BTW, I had forgotten the infamous "shoulder grab" scare from Jurassic Park. LOL! 🤣)

Randolph Tirazona

For me and I believe for Addie too... This is one of Thee greatest movies!

Andre Agog

Now that you have done the Dunes, would you be interested in checking out the 1984 version? Basically I'm trying to sneak some David Lynch in your line-up.

Doug

I intentionally skipped those Beach Party type movies, they’re mostly pretty bad. 😄 (Beach Blanket Bingo might be the best one? 🤷‍♂️)

Mr. Writhms

Would you consider a random movie draw from channel member suggestions once a month? You could include the results in your "Ask Me Anything" videos. It would be fun for everyone and we would all get a (small) chance to have a favorite movie posted. Of course, any horror movie draw winners will have to wait until October, and you get the final say in case someone suggests something soul-scaring. You could even include Ollie in presenting the winner somehow. 😉

Alex Tan

The shoulder grab jump scare comes from Addie's boyfriend, Jeremy. That is my favorite jump scare of all of the Addie jump scares.

Alex Tan

African or European?

Zachary Huneycutt

Hi, Addie. Hope you're doing well. I have two questions for you this month. I'll post the link you need in your messages soon. Also, I hope you like The Beatles. :) PS If you were worried about how you'd handle the jokes in movies like Blazing Saddles, you should check out some vides of the standup comedy routines of the very funny, and completely unrestrained, Don Rickles. If you are not familiar with him, your parents probably know of him. He was TOTALLY non-pc, but he brought all different people together with his comedy and everyone that was made fun of by him would take it as a badge of honor because he made jokes about people that he liked. Sometimes he would point out people of different ethnicities in the audience and makes jokes about them on the fly. And no one was offended, especially in those days when people did not take things so seriously. Look him up. He was on the Carson Show and many other late shows. ALSO, you should definitely check out the Mel Brooks films "Young Frankenstein" and "High Anxiety," though if you really want to appreciate "High Anxiety," and do it right, first you gotta watch Hitchcock's "The Birds," (not that I'm insinuating to watch it this October (;) but anyway, "High Anxiety" is basically Brooks' comedic take on Hitchcock and Suspense films.

Mathias

What is your favorite part about doing what you do? What's your least favorite?

Spawncalibur

Wow got a point there. Didnt think of it that way interesting. Max still the same in fury road as a character kinda because of what happened to him but it wasnt explained. The girl. Its not a huge thing but you def understand him and get why he like that. Avoiding spoilers difficult lol. There all great in there own way imo... well Thunderdome yahh

Billy Dancel

Heyyy there, Add-E! You are coming up to 91k YT subscribers and it’s just a matter of time until 100k!! Ollie is likely excited about it! Here we go… If copyrights weren’t an issue, what plays would you like to react to even if you have seen them before? What play haven’t you seen that you would like to react to? I’m headed to Ohio for a Wedding that I will be in and was wondering if you have been in a bridal party before? Maybe more than once? That’s it for this time. Take care of yourself, Addie!

Guillaume Huet_rennibou

Hi Addie! I know you are a big reader. Did all these movie reactions inspire you to read new, unusual genres for you?

Zachary Huneycutt

Well, I guess I'm not most younger people, since I knew about many of his other accolades and achievements before he voiced Mr. Potato Head in the "Toy Story" films. I haven't had as much time on my hands as of late, so I guess you'll have to excuse me for not seeing every one of Addie's posts on films she will be watching on her channel. I'm a huge fan of Hitchcock myself, being a writer of suspense, and also a movie buff. I just didn't really feel like posting every other Hitchcock movie in my already long post. (though I did say "High Anxiety" is basically Brooks' comedic take on Hitchcock, which would imply more of his films in general) But I appreciate the unsolicited correction. :)

Spawncalibur

Definitely. Somewhat different take of the Max character. What I love is that it doesnt take a way from any of the films or ruin the originals. Multiverse before it was cool idk lol

Neversure

No.... I'M!!!! Neversure 😂

Neversure

"uh... I don't know that"

Alex Tan

Even though I first knew Don Rickles as the voice of Mr. Potato Head in Toy Story, like most younger people do, I also grew to know him as Billy Sherbert in Casino (1995).

zep 73

Any question, huh? Okay then. Which is your favorite quantum mechanics phenomenon? Duality or non-locality?
